I’d call it a recency bias but maybe it’s a success bias…sorry Hunter- it’s gotta be Holtby. The Save is bigger than the OT goal on Hextall.

Hahah. Y’all messed up!!!  Which of you is going to bench Holtby over Hunter?  A Sophie’s choice in the making.  My choice is Hunter makes the cut. If we could go back I would say DSP gets the short straw over Bondra if we are playing “what we should have done”

Gotta be the Holtbeast. As good as Hunter was, you gotta give this to our cup winning goaltender

  5. Halpern. Since that’s when I really got into hockey. His first year. But Holtby otherwise.

    Braden Holtby.

Call it recency bias if you want, but there’s no cup without Holtby.

Holtby obvious answer but shout-out to The Paralyzer, Matt Hendricks. Shootout god

This one is going to be generational. For the older fabs they will remember Dale Hunter with the “Goal” against the Flyers. Younger fans will only remember Holtby with the “Save” against Vegas.

Shoulda saved B for Holtby, H for Hunter, and given Bonzi the P. But too late! Gotta be Holtby based on the cup win, but poor Hunter because he’ll be out, which is insane. But it’s more insane to leave off the cup winning goalie.

This was a tough one but I’m going with Holtby. Love Dave Hunter and I even have his jersey in my collection but Holtby a huge reason we finally won the cup.
