That game truly felt like a funeral for the Ottawa Senators
well not expecting much from the sens to close out the year. They will compete game in and game out that is built into MOST hockey players. At this point sens players are playing for pride or for jobs or a bit of both

Please someone find these team stats: 1. Most goals allowed with two mins. of the start of the game and/or beginning a period. 2. Most goals allowed within two mins. of end of a period. 3. Most goals allowed within two minutes of another goal against. 4. Most goals allowed within two mins. of scoring. I would surmise the SENS are top three in all of these. The momentum-killing/vibe-killing goals this season have been non-stop.

Tkachuk got taken out of the play on the 6th goal against, Orlov rides Tkachuk right against the boards and bullies the puck away from him, and a long breakout pass to Guentzel in on the score – after Chabot tried the same move to Tkachuk. School was in session.
