I really hope that Lindgren’s injury isn’t serious but if it is I feel so much better about our defensive depth this season than I have in the last few years, and the way that Jones has been playing when he’s been given a chance to is a big part of that.

Also Jones never cried. He never complained about getting sent to the AHL. He never complained about being a 7th defenseman. He’s always there at optional skates. And now he’s playing great hockey and is primed to be a regular player next season! Got to respect his work ethic.

Kid’s a keeper and I’m glad he’s getting playing time. He can replace Gus next season even though Gus has been pretty solid for us.
