I love Bunting down by the net. Bunting gives off a Hornqvist or Gary Roberts net front vibe that has been completely missing from the team. My only problem with Bunting (from Toronto) is that Dubas (from Toronto) didn't sign Bunting as a UFA over summer. It was nice to see 87 set up Eller from the left side on the power play. Break all old bad positional habits on the power play because they are predictable out of routine. They moved Sid to the left side and he immediately makes a play for a ppg!
Hey DK, Let's face it, Pittsburgh Penguins are on Life Support and I don't see them putting it together, strictly because of Jarry and his Lack Luster Outings are unpredictable??? To make it through the Playoffs we need a Goalie that's playing on a elite level???!!! Oh and they need to PRACTICE shooting at the Net pass the Blue Line and missing 5 Open Net shots from the Blue Line is ridiculous.
They throwed me back into the rollercoaster. I'm ready for another bumpy ride. Let's go for it!
The Pens haven’t won a series since 2018, but as usual, we can’t blame the coach because it’s always “other circumstances.”
I will say, I really like how they played against the Red Wings. If they can play like that, they can beat anyone. I honestly like how they played against the Rangers in being aggressive. The problem in that game, they were too loose and had way too many defensive zone breakdowns.
I’m liking the third line of Smith-Eller-Puustinen. I thought they were one of the best lines this weekend and Michael Bunting is becoming one of my new favorites really quick.
Out of the 28 losses the penguins have 18 are by one goal. If they don't make the playoffs that's a big reason why.
