  1. All the skill will melt away.We are getting beaten continuously because of a lack of size and grit.Talented players are being embarassed each night. The loss of push back was obvious after Joshua left and we adress it by injecting more skill and wonder why it doesnt work.Heading for the playoffs and every point is contested vigorously.Jusy getting Joshua back wont be enough.A couple of bruising wingers can be had cheaply as long as the rest of the league isnt aware of how badly you need them.Guess that ship has sailed.

  2. It’s frustrating to see the power play struggle with a high pressure PK while other teams slide right in and set up a power play

  3. It was a great run while it lasted but this is the Canucks so eventually the wheels were gonna fall off the wagon.

  4. The good old "new coach" effect has worn off (as usual). The real Canucks have shown up and would be battling for a lotto spot (as usual) if they hadn't had a great start to the season. Unfortunately they have become unwatchable. God help us if we meet the Oilers in round one. A four game sweep is inevitable.

  5. It’s amazing how much the team relies on that 3rd line. When Joshua went down, so did the team, but the signs were there before he got hurt.

  6. In their own end on or after the shot things can get crazy. Everyone is looking for the puck. I mean every one. Meanwhile the opposition can run free. Do your own job let the other guy do his job, don’t help him.

  7. I've never seen a bunch of lowlife fans give up so easily on team that remains in first place. We have injuries that are hurting our depth and shaking up our lines…Y'all are so jaded you basically scrape your dinner in the garbage as soon as it gets cold. fuckin waste of support in my opinion, you're not a true fan.

  8. That powerplay needs a shake up. They keep looking for that shot from the circle. Since the begining of hockey, successful powerplay consist of two things: bombs from the point, and an enormous dude in front of the net. They keep trying to make the pass.

  9. The top 6 has to wake up. Petey in particular. He does score a goal every now and then, but it causes people to overlook how he’s flopping and tripping around the ice. He’s gotta pick it up.

  10. Coach needs to stop being a safe space. Call those players out publicly, they need to be shamed, their play is shameful. Looking forward to Joshua coming back.

  11. When you got a goalie who is rusty and you keep trying for perfect shot when it's just not there. What I saw from Petey I wouldn't offer him more then a million without a no trade added. They looked like they went back in time to Nov. 2022

  12. Haven't they played like 10 games in 17 day? I know they are professionals but I can see how that would seriously effect them. All teams go through slumps. Tocchet is an emotional guy but I hope he doesn't yell too often, they may just start tuning him out.

  13. I think sometimes the fans seem to care more than the players on the ice. I don't think many of these millionaire kids realize how fortunate they are. Boeser can float for a game and makes more money than some do in a whole year.

  14. Pettersson has been invisible. Boeser has been invisible. Mikheyev has been invisible. STOP being invisible.

  15. 50/50 puck battles are huge, the little plays that seem benign are the ones that have cause and effect, usually the hardest skating team gets the bounces, controls the general flow of the game. All the talent in the world can be useless if your not working hard.
