The way there losing isnt acceptable. Going on skids is one thing but to lose because your not motivated or just playing lazy and lethargic, is crap.
I’m completely with you too! I personally think it’s the coach more than anything now. He is all ho-hum after each loss. He even said it before the game…he said “This is not a must win, this a must play well game”. What an idiot! Every game should be a win mentality, not a play well mentality only. He is thinking already that winning is not that important. I want a fire Lalonde movement, like the Lions had with “Fire Millen” movement/protest!!! 😤😡🤬

Yzerman is 0 for 12 on 2nd round picks making the nhl so far in Detroit. Id have happily handed the devils a 2nd rounder to add tyler toffoli. Even if he was a pure rental we would have solidified the top 6 and gave the team even more top end scoring.
I canceled my 6 hour trip to Detroit to catch a couple games this week ….. I'm not paying to watch this !!!!! Someone needs to be fired or players waived …. I vote firing that bald headed prick running the power play……

Hard to believe Veleno was drafted with the pick Vegas sent to the Wings for Tomas Tatar and Berggren was drafted with the pick from the Rangers for Brendan Smith
The player I was hoping the Wings would pick up was Kuznetsov, only cost a 3rd round pick and just 1 year left on his contract at 3.9 cap hit. I know he has had somewhat of a problem with substance abuse in the past but went through players assistance program, Carolina has a good locker room and they were willing to take that chance. With how desperate the Wings are for centers and skilled players I feel like he was worth the risk, could have played him on a line with Kane and Debrincat and pray he becomes a point per game player again or close to it. He does have 67 points in 87 playoff games, and had 32 in 24 in 17-18 when the Caps won the cup. His Bird celly is awesome, one of the best signature goal celebrations ever in my opinion.
