  1. Do we know what DeBrincat's 5×5 goal and assist count was for the first 19 games of the season? Is there a boost in assists in these last 49 games?

  2. Debrincat has been very unsuccessful at 5v5, and he's played a good bit with Kane and Larkin especially of late before the losing streak. Not nearly good enough.

Also, that "not good enough" for Debrincat is about the only positive for the Sens this year so it makes sense they can't stop thinking about it. That poverty franchise has literally nothing else.

  3. Did anyone think a midget would be a good player in games that mean something? The same midget that’s only played 9 playoff games is his career? You can’t be the size of a 15 year old boy and succeed in spring and summer hockey. This guy is just like Zegras and Kent Johnson made for the pre season and games that don’t matter. He shines when they are down 6-2.

  4. To me, the wings do not have the right players for the system they want to play. The more they practice, the worse they are. That is truly a coaching problem.

  5. another genius yzerman move, detroit got fleeced in that ottawa deal 😂😂😂

paying debumcat 8 mill for another 3 years to score 6 even strength goals a season lol

  6. Sens fans are mad because Debrincat cost them their 2022 7th OA (became Kevin Korchinski, OUCH!) a 2022 39th OA plus a 3rd in 2024. He then refused to sign and all they got back form him is, at best, a 2024 20th OA, a 4th rounder, a 4th liner and a ECHLer. Pretty devastating chain of event for a team this late into it's rebuild process.

  7. If we're talking about the reasons behind the Red Wings collapse, it's more about the loss of Dylan Larkin than it is about DeBrincat.

  8. Ottawa is just so mad as a fanbase that they have to take their anger out on players who left their team to make themselves feel better. It’s okay.

  9. The reason why Ottawa fans dislike DeBrincat so much is because he greatly diminished the return we were able to get in a trade by demanding Detroit over all other destinations. Detroit is a divisional rival and they were able to win the trade quite easily.

  10. Debrincat in almost every game of this collapse has at least had many good chances, unbelievable really how many he has missed but at least he is getting to positions to have those chances – this is usually described as a slump or clutching the stick to tight… I am not worried about DeBrincat in the middle of this, he will come out of it just fine – the team however with their over all play – that's another story.

  11. Maybe, because he said he did not want to play in Ottawa, well shiver me Timbers,he is paid a lot of money to perform,no matter what NHL team he play s for,to me that is a selfish player!

  12. I am really disappointed with Detroit's defense. Petry, Chariot, Matta, Seider, (Gosthebare Sp. is in another category of Pathetic), and Walman were awful against Pittsburg , never mind in the last 12 games. I can't believe how many grade A chances they give up. Even Seider is underachieving. I can't believe how many times he guesses wrong then loses his balance and someone blows by him. When your DEFENSE sucks … we all know, you have NO CHANCE!

  13. The reason so many sens fans are commenting on every DeBrincat tweet is because they have nothing else to do besides that or watch there team lose

  14. Sens fan here and honestly i was kinda sad seeing DeBrincat leaving but seeing he was going to his hometown of Detroit i was like ok it makes sense, i just want the team to be healthy again and hopefully they can fix that horrendous goaltending
