I think everyone is focusing too much on fighting. I don't think there should ever come a day where fighting is outlawed in hockey but then again…….. THIS IS HOCKEY NOT FUCKING BOXING!!!!! Y'all are really making a mountain out of a molehill with this kid. He's young and naive. He obviously let the pressure get to him from the fans of being this every game fighter. Hopefully this suspension will make him realize that it takes a lot more in today's NHL to keep a career. The old legendary hockey goon era is over. He definitely has some skills though and is a hell of a screen in front of the net. I just wish everyone would shut the fuck up about fighting so much. Sure it's fun to watch when there's a reason to fight but as I said again this is hockey not fucking boxing. You get no points for winning a fight. I just wish everyone would focus more on hockey and shut the fuck up about Rempe fighting.

Rempe acted like a rat the other night, not gonna lie. Wouldn't answer the bell for injuring Bastian, then he injured another guy and taunted MacDermid despite refusing to fight him. Rempe has a choice to make, does he want to be a rat or a respected tough guy. Can't be both. However, I agree that MacDermid could have forced the issue. He had ample time to just grab him and give him no choice.

MATT REMPS!!!!! They're literally making whole podcasts featuring him! Hahaha. Suspension was warranted; although 4 games is crazy. But we'll take it. He has literally changed our team! I love it! Years and Years my team was called "soft", everyone saying that we're not physical enough….. You asked for it! Now the whole league is mad. I love it! We have this edge in our play now, even the guys that don't normally have an edge! Bread was even in a skirmish the other game! Remps won't win every fight, but he's definitely part of our team now!
