Is it worse that Brodie is playing very bad for quite a while ?
Or that Keefe benches Benoit instead of the clear choice to sit Brodie?
My take on Benoit situation, is a simple one, He should be in the lineup, HE HAS EARNED IT, PERIOD. KEEFE IS A CRAP COACH

I was saying Trade Brodie at the beginning of the season, now it's to late and after this season good luck getting anything for him!
Warm bodies making league minimum are a dime a dozen in the off-season, I think they'll leave Cowan in junior next year and import a lot a cheap talent. Plus they lose Brodie's contract.
Brodie and Gio as the number 7 and 8 defencemen for the playoffs. Brodie needs to sit out a few games and put in Benoit instead. Rielly Lybushkin, McCabe Benoit, Edmunsdson Liljegren in that order as pairings. It's also basic coverage in front of the net of clearing the area so the goalie can see the puck. Standing around and puck watching is not the answer.

I have always believed that Reilly is incredibly underrated. He does so much for this team and I was thrilled that he finally got to be an all star this year.
I feel bad for Brodie but he’s become a liability. Benoit is awesome and we need him back immediately.
Other then rielly the leafs have a boat load of 3rd pairing D playing minutes they shouldn't be. Till that is addressed, will be round 1 exit
