Oh We’re back I’m sorry guys it’s the the weekend Gremlins they probably chewed through a wire um but we’re back or let’s just blame the pre but uh we’re back I’m not sure how much of uh what we talked about you guys heard but um Washington and Calgary Brian’s gonna uh

Discuss that game again uh during his best bet segment uh but excuse me I’m gonna talk about the game right now and to pick up where um excuse me where i’ started Brian I really hope it’s it’s Dustin wolf and and lingren and go from tonight they’re listed as the probables

I want them the goalies because I think lingren is the better of the two goalies in Washington and you know I was a little worried about Dustin wolf he kind of got uh use that pun thrown to the Wolves but uh back-to-back wins for him he stops 36 to 38 shots against the

Montreal Canadians where I don’t even know where the Montreal Canadians found 38 shots on goal they they’re that free space on the bingo card and uh they somehow peppered the goalie in that one and then the game prior to that he stops 20 of 29 shots against the Vegas golden

Knights who are smack dab in the middle of a playoff Wild Card race as well too so they’re not taking any nights off um this total sits at six uh shaded to the over over 15 cents which means if you’re playing at a book with um that doesn’t

Uh kill you on the viig on either over or under you should be able to get the under six at minus 105 in this spot and this is where I like it two Scrappy teams Brian talked about he’s going to talk about it again Washington coming off of back-to-back wins uh 2-1 wins

Against the Kraken and two1 win win against the Vancouver Canucks they’re playing defense like they played during the middle of the Season where uh they started to win some games and uh and I think they they ran off five or six games in a row by playing some good defense two

Teams in a battle for playoff spots and their respective conferences I just don’t see this being a pond hockey game we could see some power plays we could see some Power Play Goals but um um if that’s what you’re hoping for um I rather think of the game as a five on

Five and as a five on five game uh this is an under for me uh in this one Brian I’m gonna go back to you on this one so you don’t spend most of your best bet segment talking about uh this game you can talk about it

Now okay I’ll go back and repeat what I said before and keep in mind this is my best bet so I’ll just touch on this when we get to that only two games on today’s schedule but uh the capitals have won six of the last eight meetings in this

Series including winning four or five in Calgary uh when looking at the last 10 games five on five play with see the capitals with a 50 goal share expected goals 50.5 two Flames were only 46.5 3% and 48.1 7% in expected goals so uh this is

The fifth and final game of the road trip for the capitals they lost at Winnipeg and Edmonton two of the best teams out west but beat Seattle and Vancouver uh Washington’s allowed one goal or less in four of the last six games and only Edmonton put up more than

Three goals against them that’s pretty impressive when you consider five of those six games around the road and they did play Vancouver Ed Edmonton and Winnipeg so this is a very good defensive uh run for Washington Capitals right now Flames are off back-to-back winds over the slumping

Golden knights and the Canadians and uh even though um they’re still fighting for that playoff spot I can see them having a a little bit of a downturn here is they’ve got the next four days off before they play Vancouver uh if they are behind after two periods here I

Would not bet on them coming back in this game uh Washington ranks third in the Wild Card Standings they put themselves back in the playoff race I like this Washington team in this game you Brian you know when we talk about playoffs and uh you know I talked

About uh again uh at the top of the the show earlier that you know these are two teams that I was looking to fade during the um the last month of the season I didn’t think I thought their strength of schedule um was just too high that um

They just weren’t going to make up the points and they need the teams in front of them to really falter and I get it Washington has pulled within a point um with those two wins of that final wild wild card spot but I spent the weekend going through back-to-back scenarios

Three and four nights uh games with tr on Washington schedule and the teams in front of them and I’m just still not convinced that this Washington Capitals team is going to make the playoffs now um and that has nothing to do with how tonight’s game goes even with a win I

This is it’s how I feel about him I think we’re gonna know in the next seven to eight days whether the capitals um are a playoff bound team or not this is their schedule at Calgary tonight playing against another team looking for two points then they come home they face

The Maple Leafs then they play the Carolina Hurricanes who aren’t losing right now to anybody it seems they play the Winnipeg Jets who just seem to find goals and are playing defense again having a great season after the Winnipeg Jets they have the Detroit Red Wings who

Will have Dylan Lin back he should be returning this week changes the outlook on that team then they play in Toronto they play the Boston Bruins they get the Buffalo Sabers Pittsburgh Penguins Carolina again that is a tough schedule and that’s not even mentioning how they close out their season with some tough

Games again as well too against uh playing the Flyers the um the Bruins uh and the lightning so I just don’t see it they’re just gonna have to go on such a monstrous run uh during um after tonight’s game but they do have a um um more games at home

Than they do on the road so that kind of helps them in that sense but it’s such a tough schedule I just don’t see how they they uh make it into the playoffs and I think some books agree with me I posted a play on the weekend for clients and I

I showed them the prices of what you’re getting at books and what DK had available which was a great price on them to miss the playoffs and uh and I bet it uh I bet it and then released it so with that said Brian um any last

Thoughts on this game before we move on to the next now you mentioned they play Tampa twice and they play Detroit those are the key games those are the teams they need to pass um in the playoff scramble um th those are key games when they play those teams they have to win

They have to sweep if they don’t sweep you’re you’re probably right because that is a hell of a tough schedule coming up yeah all right let’s get to another team that literally needs to go on a run but um hey they’re they’re my favorite team but I came into the season knowing

They wouldn’t make the playoffs halfway through the season I felt the same way and even now that they’re only four or five points out of a playoffs SP Brian I still don’t think they’re gon to make the playoffs that there’s just too many holes on it on a team and good teams do

Not lose five six seven games in a row a couple times during the regular season it’s the Sabers and the Kraken Kraken minus 120 here uh Sabers plus 100 the total sits here at five and a half projected goalies are grout and Devon uh Levi so we will see um if

Those goalies before the end of the show are confirmed but give me your thoughts on this game and then I will uh I’ll give you my thoughts on the games guys yeah I’m originally from Cleveland we didn’t have an NHL team other than a couple years and uh so I like you became

Either a Penguins or a buffalo fan because those are the closest teams to where I where I grew up and unfortunately it doesn’t look like either of those teams are going to make the playoffs this year and that’s that’s a shame um for the smaller towns in in

Pittsburgh and buffalo but you know the Sabres have yet to beat the Kraken in the history of the Seattle team and for the most part the games really haven’t been close Buffalo has lost by margin of three1 four three and three goals in this series uh they’ve been the better

Team when looking at the last 10 games on five on five action uh Buffalo has a goal share of 57.14 expect a goal of 60.4 so despite the 54 And1 record they’re playing very well right now but they have dropped three straight games on the road in

March they haven’t won a game Road game in this March and they have to travel to Vancouver to face the conu tomorrow um that’s going to be even though Vancouver slumping a little bit and we knew that was going to eventually come uh that’s

Going to be a tough game in a second of a b back to back for Buffalo so you’re going to get a good effort out of Buffalo tonight but will that be enough the Kraken or at the end of a five game winless home stand uh Seattle has a 45.6

Goal share expected goals 43.69 the last 10 games and considering that all those games they played were at home the 4 five and one record in those 10 games is pretty poor um that said we know we get the team here that’s going to put out their best effort and that’s the Kraken

Tonight uh you don’t lose five straight games at home and take a game for granted especially against a team that you’ve had a lot of success with here so if we were to play this one and we use this as our free play on the website today um I’m I’m looking for Seattle

Here Buffalo’s playing the better hockey but they have not played well against Seattle and I love to play on teams that are on a losing streak and they play a team that they’ve been able to dominate and that’s the case with Seattle here so I’ll lay the small number with the

Host all right you know Bri I I saw an interesting stat before I get into uh what play I like in this game I saw an interesting stat um I I was out on Saturday night uh and guys I’m gonna have this video for you guys tomorrow

Because the pre is on I’m going to have this video I filmed this video without him knowing at the time I was filming this video but PR is a huge lease fan we know so I’m out with um was um myself my wife my friend and his wife and then of

Course he’s a friend of pres so pres and vivc come and we’re in the bar area of a nice restaurant and we’re watching The Leaf game while having dinner and pre you know PR is a leaf fan he absolutely loses his his for lack of a better

Word and I’m filming this because he got out of his seat to pace around and watch the shootout and overtime and I filmed it and in different portions uh we’re gonna have that video on it he wanted to embarrass me with the that old Viagra story I’m going to embarrass him

With the video of Saturday night Brian I can’t think of any better video to show and then our producer will have it now with that said uh listen I don’t think the Sabers have given up hope on this uh on this playoff push I just don’t think

They’re going to make it I just think they’re schedule again for a team and the interesting stat I talked about Brian during um during that game and I was watching I had Columbus as a 5% play in regulation so I had a little I had it

Streaming on my on my iPhone and they put up a stat which was um colum I think it’s Columbus Buffalo and one other team it could have been Anaheim it could have been um it could have been San Jose have not won four games in a row all season

Long there’s three teams in the NHL so how do you want to make the playoffs when you can’t even win four games in a row but you have no problem losing seven in R that’s how I feel about the Buffalo Sabers and I’m a fan so I’m not crapping

On the franchise um of other fans I’m just telling you what I see they’re just not a playoff team yet they have a great defensive Corp um they have a very good goalie in uh um um Lucan in but they still have too many uh holes to fill to

Make them a deeper Squad and um give them another year and we’ll see what they do the problem here I have Brian with taking Seattle tonight is they just looked like they had that little bit of a run going and then they lose four in a

Row and I think that just sucked the energy out of this team um they’re like 11 points out of a playoff spot they are no longer playing for a playoff spot and I think they know it they could go out they could perform they could score goals because they’re at home I’m

Leaning to the over here and it’s it’s because I still think as you said the Seattle Kraken put in an effort tonight but the Sabers are going to get theirs the Sabers are going to score first game of a road trip so they really want to to

Get this going um and Out West I’m talking about and if it’s if it’s uh Levi in net tonight um they just called him up from the AHL to be part of this trip he’s like nine and seven 330 goals against average 891 save percentage uh they’re saving Lucan in

For tomorrow night I’m going to guess against Vancouver uh if it’s if it’s um Devon in goal tonight I’m taking the over the over is five and a half I think it’s the right play the Sabres will get theirs the cracking will get theirs and we get over five and a

Half if it’s Lucan in and goal I’m not going to touch the over I’m telling you guys right now stay off of it it still could go over but he is playing well I’m drawing a line through the game that they played against the Detroit Red Wings losing that game which snapped

Detroit seven game losing streak the Sabers scored the opening goal but played quite possibly uh one of their worst games I’ve seen them play in a long while they just weren’t into the game they could have buried Detroit didn’t and uh once Detroit tied it up

That game was done so I’m taking the over in this one Brian any thoughts you had mentioned uh stats uh I had the Rangers um the other day Saturday is a 5% play against the Penguins and they won that one by three goals and then they played last night

Against their uh inate rival the Islanders and they won that game and they posted a stat that the Rangers were 12- one on the season in the second of a back-to-back situation um keep in mind in that it’s not going to help us in the playoffs but

It will help us the rest of the season this is a team that um got enough depth and and enough legs that they can play well in the second of a back toback so usually when a team is in that situation it disc count them a little bit but the

Rangers have really played well in that regard so um I didn’t unfortunately didn’t know know that ahead of time but it’s something that we can keep in mind the announcers did a really nice job on that all right speaking of doing a nice job Brian our producer is great he’s making

Sure we get enough time to talk about these ones I want to talk a couple props with you so this is stuff I I look through the weekends and if I if I want to if I bet it I release it to the clients and but I will tell them I I put

A stipulation on it and I’m talking about like even the Washington one Washington miss the playoffs um I’ll mention that really quickly to Brian it’s not one we’re going to discuss there were prices from minus 220 at DK all the way to to bet 365 which is only

Available in two states in the US I think New Jersey and Colorado and I’m not even sure if they’re operating in Colorado but they’re in Canada they were minus 700 to miss the playoffs and that’s a disparity in the lines like Johnny Detroit if he had two

Accounts at both books with lock in a profit um taking the yes at one the no at the other and uh and uh and probably get tossed off another book man Sports books absolutely hate Johnny I I see his Facebook tweets he’s been limited to like

$284 at one book you can’t even get a coffee for that up here in Canada due to inflation but this is what I want to talk to about Brian because you’re a Vegas guy um Vegas to make the playoffs this is current price at DK yes is-100 the no is plus

700 on the no um you look at Vegas and and um right now right you look at their schedule and I’m just going to name a couple games for them and and uh we’ll just discuss the schedule um they got Tampa Bay Seattle crack and these are

All at home Columbus then they’re off to St Louis and we talked about their road record I think they have a losing road record they’re in St Louis who are playing extremely well right now and a team that they’re battling for a playoff spot with Nashville another team on a

Very good run Winnipeg Minnesota so by the time we hit the end of the month they have played some monster games and a lot of them on the road as well too then they come home play Vancouver they have somewhat of a gimme against um Arizona but then they play Vancouver

Again Edmonton Minnesota Colorado and then they finish off with what should be two gimmies in home games against Chicago and Anaheim um that’s a pretty tough schedule with the exception of like maybe three gimmies in there they got some good teams and teams that are battling for playoff spots is minus

1,200 to make the playoffs for a team that’s right now tied for that in that seventh and eighth wild card spot is is that too big a price there is no way I would lay that type of number uh I’ve watched Vegas we try to watch as many games as possible probably seen

Just about all of them they’re not playing well offensively uh even in yesterday’s Victory or their last victory um the timing just isn’t there they brought in you know three new players two of them are actually on uh playing right now uh hurdle’s not going

To be back till if they do make the playoffs and you know there’s been a lot of talk that oh they assume the Stone’s going to be back that last R is explain who knows if he’s going to be back at all this season so uh the trade deadline

Is over so Vegas has got the guys they’ve got and they haven’t been able to group well together lately so I have major concerns they’re tied with the Kings right now at 79 points they Trail Nashville by three Edmonton by five the blues are I don’t think their Blues are

That great of a team but they have played very well at home they’re 21 11 12 at home they’re four points ahead of the Blues Minnesota Wild is a team that’s played much better now than they played earlier in the season they’re at 74 if I took anything in this I would

Take the no that Vegas makes the playoffs doesn’t make the playoffs at plus 700 uh that’s just too that’s just too much everybody thinks Vegas will do what they can well yeah the trade deadline’s over so they’re they’re stuck with these guys right now and uh defensively I don’t think

This is a team B bet on defense and they got Martinez back and I talked about Martinez not playing well earlier but he was hurt something was wrong but now they’ve got their defensive guys back problem is they don’t have enough offensive scorers right now uh Mar and

Eel and Carlson are really the only three you can count on uh on this offense so uh yeah I’m not a Futures player but there’s no way I would lay 12 to1 on this team making the playoffs I just think they haven’t played well enough and if you take a look at their

Stats um you know they’re in the bottom of the of the standings over the last month in just about everything so uh this is a club right now I’m looking to fade even though they won their last game in Vegas so I would play the no

They do not make the playoffs if I had to choose on this one there you have it guys uh Brian with his thoughts and he’s a Vegas guy so he knows and he’s having a very good NHL season um he’s had very good NHL Seasons

During all of his time at wager talk so um you got to take what he says um and listen to it at times and he’s connected to this Vegas team as well too Brian before I get into the next one real quick um because Dustin wolf thanks to

The guy who posted it uh Dustin wolf is is confirmed for the Calgary Flames tonight but one guy Tim I think Tim Powell in our chat is coming to Vegas looking to score some cheap tickets to the lightning what’s site could you recommend where you could find some

Cheap seats or buy them outside at the game if that’s even a thing I always I always use game time because you can set it on including all fees which is huge because you get you know many of these things they charge so such high fees so

I like game time in that regard um and basically if you sit outside New York New York or uh or Park MGM and just wait for people to sell their tickets you can get really good prices on tickets gets the last 15 minutes before the game

Starts although if you are from out of town you want to see that show that starts early so that is a concern to have but that’s what I do and in fact you mentioned the Vegas playing in Arizona um we had originally bought four tickets for that and uh that’s a great

Place to watch a game at mullet Arena it’s real small Arena four or 5,000 seats I don’t think I’m going to be able to go so we’ve got four really good seats uh in Arizona to see the night so if anybody um wants to do that and get

In touch with me I’ll give them a discount over what I would sell them um on on the sites but uh yeah game time has been very good to me just set set it at um all inclusive and you’ll know exactly what you’re going to have to

Pay all right uh love it four seats that’s pretty much 25% of the seating capacity in that uh Stadium or Arena that they have there a mullet Arena only 15 5,000 fans uh most of them are visiting fans because they love to come and watch their teams play and they can

Get tickets uh pretty much on the cheap one other one I want to talk to you guys about and I want Ryan’s feedback on this is the Edmonton Oilers Edmonton Oilers as of this morning they’re they have 84 points with 17 games left their team

Total points is 106 and a half which is basically they need 23 points in 17 games to cash this um this play now that might seem like a lot but 17 games here are some of their games they play the Montreal Canadians at home Buffalo Savers at home uh they play Ottawa

Anaheim Arizona twice and San Jose so there you have seven games which I hate to use the word gimme I’m not gonna use the LW um but seven games that they should win which means uh this is not even including overtime um losses where you pick up a

Single point which means they would have to go five in five their remaining their other 10 games I think it’s a good bet that they go over the total there is no juice either way other than the books 15% juice either way I think they go over

106 and a half points because they are still battling for the number one seed both in the Pacific the number one seed both in the Western Conference so they are they’re not taking their foot off the pedal Brian um 23 points in 17 games sounds like a lot for a team that

Doesn’t have scoring a team that can’t play defense um a team that’s trying to get into the playoffs but 23 points for a team like the Edmonton ERS seems doable uh given those seven games and a majority of them are at home that I mentioned should be wins which then puts

You in a can they go five and five the remaining schedule which is against playoff type teams the problem you have is right now they Trail Vancouver Canucks 92 points to 84 and there’s three teams in the central all with 91 the Jets Avalanche and stars so they’ve got to

LeapFrog uh one of those teams to be able to get some Home Advantage and they’ve been much better at home they’re 21 and 11 at home 19 to 14 on the road they want that Home Advantage but unless they start off and and like for the next five or six games

Sweep the board or or only have one loss it may be too far out for them to even attempt it and you’ll get to the end of the season where they may be resting some players that’s a concern I have is if they’re not going to get home

Advantage in the playoffs it really does not matter who they play Because all those teams the Avalanche stars and conu are all very good teams and I wouldn’t consider I would I I at this point I think Avalanche are the team to beat but um it’s not much of an advantage to be

Able to play pick one of those out and play them so um Edmonton if if you get off to a good start here yes that could possibly be but if they don’t if they go four and two the last six or four and three or excuse me the first six four

And or four and three the last the first seven there’s not going to be an advantage for them to really go all out to win that so I guess that we have a little bit of a disagreement in this one you know for me it’s more about what

Their schedule is and before we get into the Best Bets what their schedule is and the fact that um the number one seed in the Pacific is probably more important to them than the number one seed overall because as you talked about there are other teams you know like Colorado like

Dallas like Winnipeg that are playing extremely uh some exem good hockey right now and could very well win the the conference but they are um they are eight points back of Vancouver with three games in hand on Vancouver and then the issue with Vancouver is and

We’ve seen it last couple of games is um it’s Casey the Smith for the next two to four weeks for the Vancouver Canucks and I don’t want to disparage the guy but he is not Demco Demco having a vzna season with the Vancouver cans playing absolutely uh unbelievable I don’t think

Anyone expected him to play as well as he did and now you’re with the Smith who’s gonna have to carry much of the load because you don’t want to go to your your next Str uh your thir your third string who is who is now your

Backup goalie um and it just seems like Vancouver’s up against it uh if the Edmonton orders can make up those if those if those three games in hand become three wins they are are essentially two points back at the Vancouver Canucks have to play the Canucks and I think they overtake them

So um it becomes winning the Pacific more than anything else because then you’ve got the number one seed uh in um might not be the one number one seed overall in the conference but it’s the number one seed in your Division and you play a wild

Card team at that point so um we’ll see how that happens right we got to get into the Best Bets um thank you for putting up with me during this uh this Futures talk we’re going to do a little bit of it um every day this week if we

Can um tell us what you got up at wager talk baseball season is a uh one week away you just got back from spring training down in Florida um you know your baseball uh just as good if not better than most guys uh at wager talk you always have good seasons in baseball

Tell us what you have up at wager talk and give us the show uh best bet yeah the show best bet uh is the only play I up for clients as of right now and that’s Washington I won’t get back into all the analysis on it because

I’ve done it twice but um Washington I think is is a bargain priced in that game and although I do I do think Seattle has some value as well uh yeah you mentioned baseball uh just spent the last week down in Florida usually I’m in

Arizona but we wanted to uh go down to Florida the wife wanted to go to Disney um so we went down there and um got to see got to go to three ballparks I’d never been to before uh Fort Meyers for the uh the Twins and

The Red Sox and then in Sarasota for the Orioles um but uh learned a lot while I was down there uh really good teams and got a chance to watch him play in fact I’m doing uh wedger talk today and I’m going to break down two of my favorite

Season wins in the American League on there and uh I’m big into Fantasy Baseball so I know all the players have had a lot success in that regard and when you do play f Sports I believe it helps you when you’re handicapping a long season like major league baseball

So we’ve done very well number three last year in net profit and over the last seven years eight nine years or whatever we’ve got a couple number ones in Major League Baseball at the end of the season too so baseball has been very good to us uh Washington is our best bet

A 249 every single play right through the Stanley Cup of finals on a good run 176 in one the last seven or eight days in the NHL and uh up for 2024 transparency is everything guys 2023 um started extremely slow in NHL picking it up now and I’m gonna have a

Good final month and a good playoffs uh try and make everyone happy my player prop I am going to go on this player prop to the Buffalo Sabers Seattle game I’m going with Dylan cousins uh shots on goal it’s over two and a half very minimal juice minus 105 he’s gone over

The total in four of his last five games he had only one in the last game against Detroit you got to draw a line through it the whole sa the Sabers as a whole did not show up for that game a crucial game against Detroit the the four games

Before that 17 shots on goal Seattle have allowed in March six games they 189 shots on goal or 31 and a half shots on goal per game it’s kind of why they’re losing right now as well too if you like the Sabers as I do in this spot tonight

And you like the over which I do in this uh tonight then there’s G to be shots on goal Dillan cousins over two and a half minus 105 is your show best bet guys I apologize for the bit of audio issues on Monday we’re going to be back tomorrow the pre steps into
