Dude Derek Lalonde needs to give Lucas Raymond a Huge Gigantic Hug because he saved you from getting fired the next day. Without Lucas Raymond effort we don’t win this game tonight. Credit to him first and foremost.
The fact that the Red Wings lost 8 out of 9 games and are still in a playoff spot amazes me, I don't ever want to hear about how tough their division is again.

Really don't like how he talks about this team. when we're playing as bad as we've been I get it, but this knob was talking about how untalented we are when we were dominating. No superstars? Kane, Mo, and razor have something to say about that.
Just how good Edvinssen looked tonight. He looked very comfortable and not out of place. We BETTER KEEP HIM UP HERE THE REST OF SEASON. WE NEED HiM VERY BAD!!!!!!

Lalonde needs to pull some of these guys in his office and ask them if they think someone else will give them a dime next year or the year after when they are FAs. If they arent motivated to play for each other, maybe for their wallets
The way Derek Lalonde described the whole game, especially the first period, at the 3:56 mark of the video, it seemed like he cared. Had he not cared, then we would’ve had a bigger issue with him as a head coach. But he cared. Our men responded in the second period and beyond. Raymond’s second goal of the game with 12.6 seconds remaining gave the team the much needed spark, and Kane finished it in OT because he’s still HIM. Just gotta keep up the momentum, start off strong with more forechecking, and go full throttle 60 minutes from here on out!!!
how can Lalonde expect his players to play for him when he trashes them every interview opportunity and press conference? has he said a positive word about Kane's play since he's been on the team? all he does is constantly trash him by implication (along w almost everyone else). endless overpraise of Raymond and Larkin and Perron, bashing of everyone else. Kane has been by far the best player pretty much since he got here, including the last 10 games. Raymond has 1 5v5 goal the last 10 games, and 5 goals w Kane assisting w an extra player on the ice for Detroit (+ an empty netter).
i feel like Lalonde expects Kane to leave, or they know Kane's going to leave. so they don't want to say anything positive about him and instead want to build up the young homegrown player who'll be around. otherwise it's honestly just bizarre. it seems like he won't even speak his name anymore or reference him in press conferences.
Derek needs to go!!!! Craps on the team, praises two players ( that should cause quite a bit of division in the locker room, nice touch FESTER!) Minimizes responsibility of himself and coaching staff. This dudes not ready to be a NHL coach. Not anymore than Blasshole was. Oh and the crying, we need captain softee back, he could turn this whole thing around 😢😭😭😭 I need my Dylan back😢😭😭😭😭😭 Dude, I got some NEWSIE for ya, one player doesn't decide if a WHOLE TEAM makes the playoffs.
