One small example of why no one likes the Florida Panthers
When Matthew Tkachuk, Sam Bennett, and Nick Cousins are on the ice together and there’s any action after the whistle, I don’t even have to see it to know who started it.
Perfect example of selective officiating in the NHL. Wait until the first round of the playoffs. That’s where teams like Florida and Boston have a huge advantage. Even less of this garbage is called.
Tkachuk is a RAT, like Bennet. The other day I made a comment about Bennet being 3rd man in for something Tkachuk started and was getting handled. The guy said, Bennet is just stickin gup for his team mate. Florida's day is coming and Tkachuk and Bennet will be laughed out… The Florida team is dirty and Bettman and his cronies let it happen. Judgement day is coming.

Wouldn't happen if there weren't an instigator rule. Tkachuk and Cousins would be in the ER for stuff like that, back when hockey wasn't soccer on ice.
2 annoying players out of a 23 man roster the team is “dirty”. What are their teammates supposed to do not defend their boys? Are they supposed to argue with them to stop their antics and have a Team intervention? It’s not that deep as long as nobody is injured.
If the refs are not going to deal with this, then at some point someone has to make an on-ice statement regarding this. Trouba? Xhekaj? Reaves? Wilson?
Wings fan here. The Panthers impress me, I don’t hate them. This kind of game is effective if the opponents get frustrated, lose focus and/or retaliate. So try not to… 😁 Ignoring this will surely annoy them and after a while they might get penalized instead out of frustration. 😎 If you want to retaliate, some hard, clean hits should do the trick. Just my two cents. Interesting video nonetheless, I kind of understand why many people hate this kind of behavior. 🥴
I only watched the playoffs last year and was pulling for the panthers cuz of their narrative… having watched a shit ton of regular season games this year, needless to say I'd be pulling for almost anyone else before them.
Except maybe Ottawa as they are similarly petty and chippy.. and look who leads that team?! Good thing they are already gone.
They used to be very respected.and feared. Ever since they signed the clown of the league tkachuk, they have been a laughing stock and no one respects them or even fears them. They became dirty and cheap, tkachuk brought his antics with him to Florida and taught everyone how to not play hockey. Tkachuk needs to get rocked into next week and answer the bell fight a legit fighter for once and put him in his place injure this guy he's no good for hockey.
Ref was looking at the right guys. Just in wrong order. Personally I don't mind these kind of shenanigans that much. When it's the level of yesterdays McCabe and Marchand then it starts to piss me off. I don't mind agitation but when you start to try to hurt people for real, especially the head, then that player is blacklisted for me.
What bothers me the most is it’s ok to punch with the gloves on, but if you drop them it’s 5 min. Make it make sense. The Cup finals last year is the one time the refs actually called penalties on them and lo and behold…😂

I’m a Devils fan but it’s hard to not like this Panthers team. They are a true team and know how to get in their opponents’ heads.
Both refs watched the Fla players do the first shots. Just more horrible officiating??
