5 to 20 shots in the first period. What's going on? Do they take Valium? And why can they be pushed around in their own arena? We need a McCarty again.
Larkin being out has been a disaster, but it's also given Raymond a chance to step up and show his superstar potential. If we make the playoffs AND Lucas gets this massive confidence boost, then this is actually a decent scenario for the Wings. Now if we can only get Debrincat to put some pucks in the net because he's not fantastic at much else.

NHL refs… Terrible. Not saying that they aren't equally bad for all teams, but some of those weak calls and obvious non-calls are really questionable.

Very frustrated with the dump and chase fiasco. Every offensive opportunity came from carrying the puck in and not chasing after it.

I turned it off at 3-2. This team is just playing like crap. That first period was just a total joke. I liked that they finally pulled their heads out of their asses in the 2nd but then at 3-2 with how mentally fragile this team appears to be, it seemed over and I didn't want to go to bed pissed. But…CBJ is a POS team. You can't let them push you around like that in the first period. Is this team missing their pregame naps or what? They are never ready to play on time.
Also this is the first time since his rookie year that Raymond seems dangerous almost every time on the ice.
They looked clunky without their captain in the beginning plus the flu was running through the dressing room so the lines were jumbled. Much needed points. GO WINGS!

At 5:10. Can anyone tell me what Veleno is doing? He is not even looking for the puck and his first reaction is just to swing at the puck in the complete opposite direction of the goal. Doesn't even have his head down, looking for the puck to dig it for an easy goal, just slapping away. That's why this guy wont get resigned and can go play in the SEL or KHL.

I live in Cleveland so I unfortunately wasn't able to get the Detroit feed, but I don't know if any Detroit fans know, Gaudreau got a game misconduct after the game had ended in OT. Screaming @ the officials calling them morons and fucking stupid idiots (valid), slamming his stick on the boards, etc etc. Was salty about the missed hook in OT it was WILD to see him going ballistic like that. That's the main reason Columbus stuck around on the bench is they were all just kind of watching him freak out like that
