That is really unfortunate. Him going back to Montreal doesn’t bode well for him. Hope it’s nothing too serious

Probably from the shot block, he took it in the hand.

What a bummer. I’m going to assume he’s done for the season based on the wording here, though that might be too hasty if he’s still waiting on further evaluations?

He’s been one of the few bright spots outside of the top line since he was called up from Laval. Rough for them as well, if he won’t be available for a potential playoff push.

  4. Pain without love. Pain, I can’t get enough. Pain, I like it rough. ‘Cause I’d rather feel pain than nothing at all.

In context, “indefinitely” merely means they won’t rush him back.

Well, there goes all the secondary scoring

  7. Brutal loss for the Rocket especially. They need all the help they can get and Roy coming back could’ve been huge for them

Injury bug has been plaguing us for years. Hope it’s not too serious and it doesn’t mess up his development. Still remember Juulsen getting bodied by season ending injuries and he just couldn’t reach his potential.

  9. We have to be the most unlucky team in the NHL. How does that keep happening?

We are cursed and really just can’t have nice things. Im sad

I’m selfishly sad that I won’t get to see him in the game tomorrow night. I’m team-vibe sad because fuck this injury train, straight to hell. 😔

I know he was supposed to be a key part for Laval’s playoff run.

Ultimately, I am just hoping for a speedy recovery. I’m sure no one is more disappointed than he is.

  12. Yeah it was obvious the second it happened. Shot right on the fingers where he was holding his stick, so zero give and impact dispersion.

Went to the bench to change while the line stayed on the ice with RHP as replacement.

    Fucking shit.

I was just thinking to myself yesterday how he was really smart and never put himself in vulnerable positions…

We just can’t have nice things ffs…

    Hope the guy’s alright.

    Injuries suck…

Injuries to promising young players suck BIG time.

  16. He should have been sent to Laval to help them for the playoffs push beforehand anyway. This is on management in my book.

Damn.. that Bouchard slapper to the hand ended up getting him. He was playing so good, too.

Side note – I refuse to call that shot its nickname in this subreddit.
