  1. They look like they’re really missing Chytil
And the deployment, I kept asking where was so and so a lot for many players like Trouba and Lafreniere

  2. Okay. Here’s the major problem. You have a blue collar Head Coach in Quinn who only knows College Hockey and was dreadful Coaching with the Colorado Avalanche. He came here to coach young players but does not know how to coach kids nor kids coming from Top European leagues and Junior Hockey leagues in Canada. You signed Artemi Panarin who wanted to come here and was willing to be part of this rebuild process.Gorton then signed Chris Kreider for 6 Years as fans loved him but if you traded him at the deadline, the Rangers would not have made the qualifying round and would not have gotten the 1st Overall draft Pick sensation Generational Superstar Franchise player in Alexis Lafreniere. Like Panarin, Kreider too also wants to win a Cup eventually. Well that’s not going to happen over night as this Team is still rebuilding with young talent. Yes, still rebuilding. Again, this is not 1994 when we traded away a lot of kids for old Edmonton Oilers to end the curse of 54 years and win a Cup. JD doesn’t operate that way. He has patience. Your Coach unfortunately doesn’t get it and plays favorites to players who are not top elite draft picks like Pavel Buchenvich, and Chris Kreider, Strome etc. Of course he loves Jack Eichel on the Sabres as does very critical old boring out of touch writer Larry Brooks and others. . Quinn had an opportunity to coach Jack Eichel a player who was skilled and extremely talented and gifted without the coaching experience and input of Quinn. He was taken #2 overall by Buffalo in 2015 after Worldclass Generational Franchise Superstar Connor McDavid was 1st Overall and is a franchise superstar center that pops up once in a blue moon like McDavid just like players we got a 1st chance to draft and land in our history in Alexis Lafreniere and even Kappo Kakko. Unfortunately there are Ranger fans who must win the Cup right now or make the playoffs immediately and can’t wait. Jack Eichel, who the Rangers – maybe just Quinn and or Jeff Gorton and some blueseat Blue Collar Ranger fans wish they had or think they will get but the likelihood of that happening is zero. Buffalo is built with youth. If he wants out due to failure of the Sabres to win or make the playoffs , I am sure Buffalo will trade him out side of the Division and Eastern Conference as they do not want Eichel coming back to haunt them. Then you the luxury or salary cap issue. If they, the Sabres move him to the Rangers- you can kiss goodbye to Lafreniere and Kakko plus loads of other kids- like Miller, Fox etc and draft picks. OUCH! He still will not win a Cup with the Rangers plus you will make a lot of Rangers fans like myself angry with the Rangers organization for not have patience and eventually god forbid start rooting for the Devils and Islanders who are Organizations who know how to build with draft picks and young talent and know how to win. That’s how you make the playoffs as well as win Cups folks. By luck of the draft and good coaching which we do not have. By the way Jack Hughes isn’t that great. Just got lucky this early on.

Solution: Be patient with this young team. It’s only 5 or 6 games. There was no preseason games, no rookie tournament. There is covid.
Also Coach Quinn plays musical chairs with this team regarding lines. That is awful and not good for this team and the development of the kids., our future. Consistency is needed.
There is no consistency in the lines.
Stop playing favorites to Pavel Buchenvich and Chris Kreider who isn’t in the class of Kappo Kakko or Alexis Lafreniere. Infact try Chris Kreider and Pavel Buchenvich on line 3 with Strome. Give more power play time and ice time to Kappo Kakko and Alexis Lafreniere and they will score.Stop constantly putting these young stars with Howden who is awful at center or with some grinder not a play maker. Stop putting Mika with Chris Kreider and Buchenvich. Stop putting Strome with Panarin and DiSeGuleppe – a 4th line forward. When the trade deadline comes, both Kreider or Buchenvich might be gone. Maybe Buchenvich stays. We will see. Also Tony DeAngelo will go as will Strome. You got a lot of younger players coming up. Otherwise the rebuilding process was a joke and the Rangers will never learn to build within and draft high or land the 1st overall pick and get a superstar Franchise player to lead the way and keep buying players which does not work.
Quinn has got to coach better and use his kids more on top lines and play them better for this team to succeed. The Rangers are not winning the Stanley Cup nor making the playoffs despite what Larry Brooks and other writers think. Who knows , maybe the Rangers will land the 1st Overall Pick again this year- there’s a top offensive defense man in 2021 and in 2022, there is the next Connor McDavid in Shane Wright.

The worst moves by Jeff Gorton: these made no sense- Kevin Rooney, Jack Johnson- a Living Nightmare. The curse of Jack Johnson.
Gorton could have signed a center for a year. Oh well.

Here’s what Quinn should do unless he’s fired along with Jacques Martin which could happen.

Put Mika at Center with Panarin and Lafreniere as your top line. Use them on the unit 1 of the power play too.
Or try Lafreniere at Center with top players on the wing. Lafreniere did take faceoffs in Juniors. It might work. Look, it helped Sebastian Aho.

Also keep lines together. We do not need to see Johnson on this team anymore nor McCabe. Nor Rooney.

If this doesn’t work then Fire both David Quinn and Jacques Martin for failure to coach.
    I don’t know who’s available.

  3. The top players- veterans like Mika, Panarin, Kreider, Buchenvich, Strome have got to even more. It looks like they took a vacation

  4. Kreider is NOT a right winger. Why the hell are they burying Gauthier after only a game or 2. And stop trying to force-feed Lafreniere on the first line. The kid is good but break him in gradually.
