OK Guys, it’s time to take a look at the game last night between the Montréal Canadiens and the Edmonton Oilers.. Connor McDavid put up a goal and an assist during a 3-2 Oilers victory.. But the Habs DID really back in the 3rd period to at least make the game entertaining.

It's strange how well lower half teams play agaisnt the Oilers. Very strange. When we play against better teams, we're (Oilers) deadly, but sharks, sabres, Canadians, give us trouble. Go figure. The Canadians were never going to win this game, but what a great effort. Sloppy game by the Oilers, well played game by the Canadians. NEXT!
Flew out from NS to see this game…turd period was great! 4 min penalty was BS, but was impressed with Montembeault!
It looks like it was an entertaining turd period.
McDavid is a big strong player, but his manoeuvrability and puck-handling skills remind me of peak Theoren Fleury.

That 4min penalty was bullshit, should've at least been 4on4 for 2min that was interference he didn't had the puck when he got hit. And that doctor had some wwe training putting a blood pocket in his rag😂
I'd argue that the third period was the best I've seen the Habs play this season! Also, the only reason Armia's double minor happened is because of Kane's interference. I don't know how you don't call both penalties there.

So apparently you can interfere and set picks on people all you want! Matter of fact it’s encouraged that you take their arm and force them to hit someone in the face so they get a 4 minute penalty. In all seriousness though that is one of the dumbest calls I’ve ever seen. Literally just gifted Edmonton the 2 points and there’s nothing Armia could do
Next year at least there would be a coach’s challenge on that high stick. Too bad the refs ruined a good game.

Anderson didnt just turn it over once. He turned it over on the blue line 10 seconds before. He gave a BRUTAL pass to Evans and the Oilers countered. Matheson recovered the puck and gave it to Anderson AGAIN and he fumbles the puck to McDavid and COASTED while back checking. He barely tried to get back. He could have lifted McDavids stick on the left side of the net if he wasn’t such a BUM.

This shows how inept nhl reffing is Kane should have had an interference penalty but instead they “ review “ a high stick and Army gets the gate . A few games ago Evans shows his split lip to the ref but of course no reviews on that one . The NHL is not a training ground for refs they should be competent by the time they reach the NHL

2:37 Gotta say, I love people who are at least fair in this regard. All teams have guys who down softly. Does it suck? Sure, but you don't try and pretend that MTL doesn't have guys like that too. So, thumbs up for being objective, and reasonable.
Was another solid showing between these two teams, and MTL always plays with heart and pride. Can't dare try to take that away from them. They play till the buzzer. 🍻👍

Does anyone else think the double minor for blood is a ridiculous rule? If the stick hits the jaw, no blood. An inch higher in the mouth, blood and a double minor. Since when did hockey care about a few drops of blood?

why didn't Kane get an interference penalty for the hit on Joel Armia which caused the stick to come up? McDavid is the best, then Mckinnon then a big drop before the next tranche of great players.

Dare i say we might have TWO lines now!!! Our 1st, and 3rd. It's a start boys!!! I dont know what got into Armia, (Maybe he's tryin' to live up to the Mario Armia nickname, i dunno!), but he's been a completely different player the last month or so. I find he was never putting 100% into his game, (unless he was in fear of being sent down, or tryin to work his way back up). But he has actually been tryin lately, an di think he found his game, his D is insane…let me rephrase that, lol, his Defense, is insane! lol. I have really been liking him the last month or so. i hope he keeps it up, and that penalty at the end of the game… dont even get me started, fuckin BS. We needed a loss anyway, i didnt even want the extra point for OT, but whatever, at least we lost.

I think you should do a video on Friendly fire, jump ball, high stick penalties. These 4 mins penalties are becoming too numerous. Twice in the past 3 games. We know you need to control your stick but geez Louise!
Just imagine what could happen if we could convert some of these 1 goal games/ot losses to a win! We are getting there and overall I’m quite pleased with how we are performing esp against the top tier teams.
