  1. Shh you can’t criticise Howe or the players or you’ll bring out the “look where we were pre-takeover” crowd 🤢

  2. Our fans on twitter are pathetic so u lose to city and our fans think bruno and isak will leave absolute spackas

  3. Why is this such a disaster? We are building to something. Look at all of Howes signings. Young, talented players. We are 2/3 seasons away from being a consistent top 4 challenger. Enjoy the ride Lads n Lasses. There will be a time where we miss the challenge. Our new owners haven’t even scratched the surface yet. HWTL

  4. I’ve seen bigger shite alright Eddie may have made errors but City had 10 FFP years to build – anyone who says we have nothing to play for I’ll have their ticket

  5. When fans of the same club are arguing week in week out, there's a big problem. Managers and Players and owners come and go
Us fans will always be the last ones standing
Its been that way since 1892 back in the day when we was wiping the floor with teams, now we just bend over and take a good roasting.

  6. 10 cup finals to save the season, if the players and Eddie do not perform to an acceptable level serious decisions need to be made at the end of the season with regards to their futures.

  7. I think i feel.all those emotions and attitudes at various points in the day. Im all.over the place. I loved being a part of our support yesterday. It felt special. I left frustrated at a loss and angry at certain aspects of the match and performances. When i looked back i had a bit more perspective. The man in charge got one hell of a tune out of some bang average players. While hes not immune to criticism, i think he deserves our support. And the support of the club in terms of squad improvements.

  8. As bad as it gets? Jesus, people. We're exactly where we should be, given the players we have available. Eddie Howe has performed two absolute miracles thus far, but he's only a man. Sadly, he's a victim of his own success. Last season was an anomaly. We should never have been anywhere near the top four, but now people expect it, like it's a right. You can't really say one person has put us in our current position, but actually, the stats say you can… and it isn't Howe! With Pope between the sticks this season, we conceded 14 goals in 14 league games, won 8, drew 2, and lost 4. In the 14 league games since he was injured, we've shipped 34 goals, lost 8, drawn 2, and won just 4, as we dropped from FIFTH place to tenth, and lost games we previously wouldn't have. Everything changed on December 2nd, and no amount of formation or personel changes will fix the loss of confidence, form or trust the players have suffered since then. It's almost as if a goalkeeper's ability to boot a ball onto a sixpence isn't the most important attribute at all. That aside, anyone who thought we would rock up at Man City in our current fragile state and spank the world champs on their own turf needs to have a little chat with themselves.

  9. Time for change. It’s needed. Fresh ideas are needed. Howe OUT!! Go and get Nagelsmann or Hansi Flick to replace him, it’s pathetic hanging onto Howe who’s taking us nowhere.

Why’s hard questions being avoided from the journos? Things that need asked ASAP👇🏼

    1) why is the medical team still in a job when it’s the worst medical team in the PL? Every player who comes back from injury ends up relapsing.

    2) why is Joelinton being allowed to bulk up so big which is causing his injury problems. Any player who bulks is up becomes injury prone, DCL, Ramos, Adama, Joelinton etc. DCL’s doctor told him to loose muscle and it will stop his injuries, it’s worked, he’s played nearly every week for Everton since.

    3) Why is Dan burn being played wing back?

    4) Why are eddies friends being chosen before the players in form?

    5) Why is Botman not being dropped? He’s costing us goals WEEKLY.

    6) Why won’t Howe get rid of any players, why’s he soo sentimental, Callum Wilson should of been sold but he hangs onto dead wood players for no reason. It’s holding us back massively.

    7) why is Andy Howe in charge of recruitment because it’s eddies nephew? Jobs for the boys springs to mind.

    8) We finished 13th under Bruce, we are on course to finish there again but the only difference is Howe has had £400M.

  10. The game was a write off before it started
Newcastle at their very best last season maybe could have done it…..maybe….but still unlikely…bare in mind we only managed a 3-3 draw at home.
    The season isn't over.
Hopefully the international break will help and we'll come back rejuvenated.
I honestly think the realisation that FFP will hold us back is starting to kick in now…..Trippier Bruno Isak all thought they were joining the next Man City……now they realise that's going to be 10 years away if we're allowed to do it all…as I'd guess there will be more rule changes to stop us.

  11. He went 5 at the back hoping to counter with isak and Gordon. If a punter can work that out, what do you think Pep thought. Howes gambit is high press, when the opposition is half decent and beat the press, Howes got nothing else.

  12. It’s not about expecting to win at City, nobody expects that. What I expect is to be just as competitive as Man Utd were at the Etihad. Is that too much to ask? City actually broke a sweat in that game.

  13. What idiot would say losing 2:0 at the Etihad is a low point ? Nearly every team loses there. Probably the same idiots that say 'Howe out'.

  14. Season over? 4 points off 7th with a game in hand. We’ve beaten City, United, Arsenal, PSG, Chelsea and all well this season. We have been ruined by injuries and are playing half a team of Ashley/Bruce/Championship players. Give the man a chance to have his own squad…. Look at Arsenal/Liverpool when Arteta/Klopp came in and how they did (starting from a base that wasn’t relegation) first year or 2. Progress is never a straight line. Eddie has shown us enough to keep the faith.

  15. Mah…thanks for the best Nufc memories in living memory…but howay lets get jose in

Otherwose its farewll to gordon ,isaak ,trippier ,bruno

  16. It wasn’t that bad, they got two fortunate goals, yes we were outplayed but what did you expect with 6 players from the Bruce era still playing. As much as they’ve improved we are not anywhere near Man City’s level….. a good summer recruitment and we might close the gap a bit further

  17. Poisonous fan-base, if Howe gets Europa or Conference League this year then it’s a very decent season given the injuries, Champions League and cup-runs…

  18. Never gonna win at City but West Ham is a massive game and they will fancy their chances. They are better than Luton and Bournemouth. I think the games with Spurs and Man Utd will decide whether we finish 7th or 10th. But losing to West Ham at home is huge and losing to Chelsea was.

  19. Get real. City are the best club side in the country by a country mile and, we lost by two wicked deflections. We weren’t brilliant but this side is still missing key injured players and others – Longstaff in particular – are carrying injuries and are absolutely knackered by having played more minutes than they would normally be expected to.

  20. Howe kept us up when we really should have got relegated. He then got us into the CL when he had no right to along with a cup final. This season hasn't been great but the injuries and suspension to our star signing are mitigating factors. He has enough credit in the bank to be given at least the first half of next season. Also, has Tonali got more minutes than Hall? 🤔

  21. if the club want to move forward, they need to let Eddie go now – and this is the first time i say this dreaded statement. this season is over, and the owners need to make it clear to the world that they are moving on and looking ahead. this is the typical situation where they should not wait until the end of this season to let the manager go, especially if the owners are already looking for the next manager, who is good enough to win the league, the cups, getting into Europe, and advance to the knock-out stage.
