Will be no different of a result from the Glendale disaster. Would have been more realistic for artists rendering to have all the jerseys in the seats be of opposing teams.

Wow. Salt Lake City looks nice.
Habay12
Not realistic at all.
They published plans with entirely too many people in attendance.

Neat. Show me the blueprints, building permits and the funding.

I can also publish pictures of a fictional arena on a non existent plot of land without any costs.
mattcojo2
This would be great if built but the land auction is the last straw. The NHL isn’t going to tolerate them playing in a college arena if there’s nothing they’re working towards.

Some Arena Architect in Phoenix is making a bunch of money every six months when this team unveils a new arena design in Tempe/scottsdale/mesa/gilbert/chandler…. Gonna laugh when the purpose to renovate the old arena in Glendale.

I do love stadium rendering that will never get built. The level of optimism is truly Oakland A’s like
CitizenNaab
This is like the third different building they’ve drawn up now

I grew up in Arizona and have been a coyotes fan my whole life. Relocating to north Phoenix would absolutely create a massive boost in attendance. Most of the hockey community in AZ is northeast Phoenix. When they moved to Glendale (southwest Phoenix) it made it nearly impossible to go to games during the week, and weekend games would take like an hour each way to drive to. Yes a lot of the fans will still be for the opposing team, but I don’t think it’s far fetched to think there would be at least a %40 boost in attendance if they moved to the right area of Phoenix. People don’t realize how spread out the place is.

The full arena is a cute pic. Nice of them to dream.

As long as it’s within the fucking city limits, go Phoenix. I want you to succeed, but enough with the Glendale and Tempe crap. Stay inside Phoenix, it’s the 5th biggest city of the US, you have the space, budget and transit to make everyone happy.

Actually looks pretty sick.

What’s with all the empty space on the upper levels?

I expect to see the millennium falcon take off in the background.

Wow look nice!!
Grizz807
Least believable part is how many fans were there
MatchApprehensive816
Are they hoping they can pay in Monopoly money?
Madi3400
Does it have a practice rink or something? Why is it so damn long

The space station! Looks cool. Let’s see what it looks like after the engineers touch it.
nealk7370
There’s too many people in those photos to be realistic

Once it’s built signs everywhere saying No Bicycles or Skateboarding Allowed. Thanks rendering for getting the kids hopes up.
TheBends1971
I assume the actual arena will not have those upper seats..
CaptainNipplesMcRib
Pretty sure that’s just a mall
ConstantAsp
Yeah this makes a lot of sense. With TSMC being built up there and so many people moving to that area, that’s like the best place to be in the city in my opinion. Plus if there are any fans in the west valley, it doesn’t completely alienate them. There is so much empty desert up there next to TSMC.
coronetgemini
So they spent 5 minutes on google gemini? Good work guys

Where are the ASU Logos?
Danedurz
I see they edited in fans.
tiggertom66
I don’t know what funnier, the fact that they keep posting these plans without actually getting permits/funding, or that the coyotes who have 1 postseason game win, and 2 season records over .500 in the past 10 years have the audacity to put the playoffs logo on the ice.
18 points out of a playoff spot and 27th in the league.

That amount in the concourse… That’s for sure not Phoenix
I_Like_Coookies
FFS this is not a “build it and they will come” situation. Hockey probably doesn’t belong in Phoenix?

They don’t have enough fans to fill that thing
