Every time Bertuzzi comes up, I think about how he barely laces up his skates and it reminds me of JVR who laced them super tight but also had custom inserts made which he’d use to slightly alter the position of his feet inside the boot, in various ways using various inserts, depending on how he felt on the ice.
I really wonder, if the trainers were given carte blanche to completely rework how he wears his gear and skating technique, how that would change his game.
