Dylan Larkin scored a pair of goals in his first game back from injury and Patrick Kane added a goal to push his point streak to six games as the Detroit Red Wings defeated the New York Islanders 6-3.
I know he didn’t max out a box score, but I’m still liking Edvinsson. Yes, he had the mistake that led to the 3rd goal but he played an all around good game. Of all the Yzerman top draft picks he’s been the one that’s been slowly brought on, and I’m sure there’s a reason why, but it’s time. It’d be one thing if the defense was humming, but we all know it’s been awful AND you got freaking 35 year old Petry out there who’s been terrible. It’s time! He needs reps!
A) Copp Ras Fischer line clicking like an atomic clock again B) Larkin back so the boys remember how to play hockey C) Edvinsson pushes GR to a playoff spot, then comes up in time to help save the Red Wings season. S tier management from Yzerman.
Isles literally do the exact opposite of what an NHL team shpuld do. Overpay for mid level talent, and give NTCs to old and slow players because grit. 😂

NHL refs did their best to get this game even but alas

Trying to remember when the ice was just the home team crest and the NHL logo. That's it. Now, it's a Euro league ice.
I watch for Kaner, not much to see here. Red Wings not dead yet for the Wild Card, though.
