I loved Bure, but he was one-dimensional. Hughes is putting up tons of points from the blue line. Top 5 in the league? Well, you can't give top 5 to all forwards. Makar and Hughes are fighting for best d-man, and I think you need to put at least one of them in the top 5. You can't win with only good forwards and terrible D.
I would agree to disagree. I saw him against the Avs, and he didn't do much. He lost his edges multiple times. He also let Lehkonen score on the empty net. It's difficult to watch Hughes against the Avs
