  1. Rupp was good,
People dont realize that the Rangers are strongest at defense/goalie. You combine that with strong PK/PP and one good scoring line and you can go far. 2 scoring lines…

  2. Brian, this is the same Tortorella that wanted the Sedin brothers to block shots… that lasted 1 season. You can’t deny he wears out his welcome every place he coaches.

  3. I haven't even started listening but rupper awesome that he's part of this. And Brian I love that you're part of this podcast now awesome keep up the good work everybody let's go Rangers

  4. Call it what it is, instead of providing every excuse under the sun as to why it's not. Rangers top guys DISAPEAR in every big game not vs the Islanders. Past 2 months, 93, 20 & 10 have been ghosts when they meet up with a playoff team. Discuss that!

  5. BB was fantastic between the bench!!! Hope you join the NYR broadcast permanently. It's time for old man Rosen to hit the road, he has not uttered anything relevant in 20 years

  6. I love the way Brian stuck up for Torts and also loved when his son told him that he knew the -1 was gonna hurt him, great stuff. Brian and Mollie are terrific together. Really enjoyed Rupper too, great podcast!

  7. I love this pod!
The Rangers played their most consistent, disciplined game of the season against a tough Bruins team. They did it without two of their big hitters in Trouba, and Lindgren, however, THE REMPIRE STRIKES BACK! As Matthew Rempe is inserted into the lineup to make up for the lack of physical play the Rangers were missing from their injured player. He definitely kept the Bruins honest, even if he did look lost on that goal the Bruins scored to make it 2-2. Nevertheless, the Rangers came back again and put the game away.
What time is it!? IT'S 5 PAST SWAYMAN!

  8. I agree that the whole Sean Couturier thing is such a non-issue. He clearly hasn't been playing very well lately and Torts is trying his hardest to secure a wild card spot. It makes perfect sense to me.

  9. I agree that this rangers team at times show no fight/effort. Rempe is the spark they need because last season this team played with no motivation. We the fans like to see our team play with passion for most of the year

With that said I love this rangers team and I also feel good about the future. That is why I did not want them to give up a first rounder and prospects. Glad they went cheap. They have quality players to come soon and our future current players to name a few are Laffy, Kakko, Miller, Fox, Bren, Jones, Rempe, Will and of course Igor
