He was great but no cups. Hard to be a habs legend and put your number in the rafters without 1.

  3. Free_Speak

I’m like Wolverine and the picture frame right now

  4. FxSpecter

.938 with the amount of starts that season and the meh team that he had in front of him was absolutely bonkers.

  5. JPMoney81

What season was this? Just absolutely insane numbers.

    In conclusion: Fuck Chris Kreider

  6. If only management would have gotten him a top tier centre or even two 2Cs…

I wish he had better offensive teams ahead of him. I remember most of the time they lost in the playoffs was their lack of scoring.

  7. Never forget that Bergevin blatantly squandered a once in a generation goalie because he was afraid to trade 1st round picks.

Prime Carey was a magical thing to experience/watch. I miss him, man

  9. TheMatureNeuro

Do you reckon price number will go to the rafters ?

  10. bobert727

Funny 2 days ago a post I had made on Facebook using this exact pic came up as a memory from a post I had made that year

  11. Major_Estimate_4193

looking at the names on that list, Fleury sticks out. posted another shutout last week, and man, realizing that fleury started 3 years before price…

  12. Spicy_Pickle_6

Why do you make me start my weekend with tears?

  13. Nicky_Shpack

It’s still hard for me to accept that the price era is over. What an incredible talent that never had the opportunity to be surrounded by an equally incredible team. Very happy I got to watch him play, but so sad he never won a cup.

  14. TheDribonz

And yet, some dumb people shat on him non stop while he was here.

  15. Roberge96

Man were we ever blessed to have this guy in net. I will cry the day he officially retires

  16. Or1ginality

    Started the season 40-15-4 .938

Then went 4-1-2 .895 in the last 7 games

  17. Snow-Wraith

And the most offensive players he had were Pacioretty and Plekanec. Our best hope of winning was to win every game 1-0, hoping the other team scored on themselves.

It pains me to think that like if Price and Golden Knights legend Shea Weber hadn’t absolute donated their bodies to the 2021 finals run and we assume Price would see a similar longevity as someone like Fleury… man it could be a different story in Montreal right now if you have even half decent Price mixed with the production of the first line right now. The whiff of Suzuki/Caufield backed up by Price in that Finals run is just such a huge moment in the history of the team.

I’m just so glad I got to cheer for Carey Price.

  19. CakeYaSan

I remember keepin track of his stats that year, final year of Uni, totally crazy. I also remember thinking wtf Schneider, those kinda stats with a terrible Devils team.

  20. BayStreetGuy

I’ll be the first to admit…we didn’t know how good we had back then.

  21. CarlSK777

The 2012-15 Habs had a core that could’ve gone all the way had Bergevin done a better job improving the team and gotten a better coach. Still blows my mind he thought Therrien was a good fit. They still had success in spite of him because he had an all-time goalie.

  22. It was incredible watching him play every night, a real shame that management couldn’t get him a cup

  23. InNausetWeTrust

    🐐
    And Kreider can 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼
