not only was this a great game for the team but it really showed off how much chemistry ray ferraro and john shorthouse have, would love to see him full time next season

To be completely fair, there were a decent amount of missed penalty calls on the Canucks and Desmith is the only reason the score wasn't a lot closer

Win some, lose some against bottom dwelling teams. Gotta bring it for a full 60 minutes! A period or two of good hockey isn’t going to get you through the playoffs. First to the puck, heads up hockey for 60 minutes. They all need to bring Garland intensity to each shift. Play hard, rest smart!

The true measure of a team- as far as playoff potential- is how they play in the games that matter (ie. Vegas, Edmonton, Boston, Florida, Carolina, Winnipeg, New York, Dallas, Colorado). I suggest this game was not one of those as much as I will take any Canucks win.
