Tyler Seguin Scores in his Return and Nils Lundkvist Proves he DESERVES to be in the Lineup!

Tyler Seguin rejoins the Dallas Stars after nearly a month off with an injury and scores in his return as the Stars take down Arizona by a final score of 5-2. He and Nils Lundkvist made big impacts in their return to the lineup, Lundkvist picked up two assists and played a fantastic game which hopefully keeps him in the lineup moving forward. Jani Hakanpaa missed the game with a lower body injury and Lundkvist seized the moment. Seguin looked healthy and more importantly made Matt Duchene and Mason Marchment look like they did for most of the season before his absence. The Stars we’re fueled by a three goal 2nd period, they have a +17 goal differential this season in the middle frame and out shoot their opponents by a substantial amount. Plus the depth they possess up front is some of the best in the NHL, Craig Smith scored in his fourth straight game and every line scored in the game. To wrap up the episode Joey continues to worry about Jake Oettinger. He made 23 saves and Dallas did a great job in front of him to limit the Coyotes chances, but he looks shaky at times even when he’s making saves. He needs to find confidence and then the Stars can be dangerous come playoff time.

  1. Nils looked great. Didn't make any glaring errors, kept a good gap on attackers, made some great plays, I dont know how you can sit him

  2. Nils definitely should get more playing time, especially if you're not going to be a physical team. At least, use someone like Nils who has more speed and can get the puck out of their own zone to negate any forechecking from their opponents.

  3. Regarding Otter, I live in Edmonton and got to see the Oilers start the season terribly. Look at Skinner then vs now, totally different goalie. I think Otter hasn't been able to shake the lack of confidence and every goal feels like a stab in the heart. I think the first goal he doesn't want to get beat high and gives up the five hole and then the second goal he's deep and he gives up a high one. I think Wedgwood can play his game because nobody is putting pressure on him, Otter is 24 year old goalie who has the expectation that he takes the stars deep in the playoffs and I think he's just learning how to deal with that.

  4. Yeah we all know Otter’s been in a slump and he’s working through it but he had a 920% sv last night lol y’all need to chill. He looked much better.

  5. Nils is just a way better fit for how this team plays. Hakanpaa is not good offensively, defensively, and he hasn’t even looked good on the pk for months now. A pair of him and Suter will never work so debore needs to stop trying to force it.

  6. Last night was your starting playoff roster-barring any new injuries. 🔥🔥🔥

    Anyone else notice:

Roope looks frustrated, though, when he misses on a Grade A.
