[CapFriendly] Last night, Montréal forward Rafaël Harvey-Pinard played in his 70th career NHL game, which resulted in him losing his waivers exemption. Going forward, Harvey-Pinard will require waivers to be sent to the minors.

He has next year but after that if it’s a repeat of this one well…

Such a disappointing year for him. May end up being another Daniel Carr, Sven Andrighetto, Rem Pitlick

He had very a disappointing year offensively. In his defense, he missed a lot of time due to injuries. I’m hoping he has a bounce back season next year, and gives us 15 goals as a 3rd liner.

That being said, if he’s going to remain a 4th liner, at least he’s useful on the PK.

  4. I’m bit confused. I thought he should go through waiver when sent down since the beginning of the season, no ? Ylonen and Harvey-Pinard both can’t be sent down when the season starts, no ?

If he can’t make the team next season he might as well go on waivers anyway

People need to fucking move on from RHP he was never an NHler to start with. At least not on a top 12 team. Next year is most likely his last year with us. Hes too tiny to be a fourth liner and he doesnt bring enough depth.. and god knows hes far from being a 3rd liner.

He makes 1.1 mil, I’m not even sure he gets claimed not being league min.
