The New Jersey Devils pulled off a March Madness upset victory over the Winnipeg Jets. They did so in a convincing fashion mainly due to their power play success. While the victory itself was great, the team still has a lot of work to do if they want to sneak their way into the playoffs. Tyler Toffoli and Colin Miller made their return to the Prudential Center.

Very little hope for the playoffs at this point. Still great they are playing well closing out the season and not playing with their tails between their legs. Jake Allen has been superb. Lets Go Devils!

Timo is going to do great things in NJ.
Luke needs time to develop because that has been the way it is for most defensemen. If fans were this critical of Jack in his first season, he would have been switched to defense or wing. In a couple of seasons, all of Luke's critics will be eating their own words.
I don't get the Nico hate. I don't care if Cap is on the bench wincing. I care about his play on the ice.
Jake Allen is showing what competent goaltending looks like in NJ. Fitz still needs to acquire another "Big Game" goalie so that we never have to witness a season this disappointing since the 95-96 season when the Devils missed the playoffs after winning their first cup.
Imagine Ullmark, Allen, and Daws between the pipes next season 🙏
Frustrating and good to see at the same time. Last night's win was the team we thought we were going to see all year.
I think the Devils have the best coming matchups. the other 3 have harder ones.
Saw a great point last night: had Jake Allen not rejected the trade to NJ sooner, how different would things be? Devils aren't jumping all of the teams needed to get in at this point. They also still haven't proven that they can string a true winning streak together. But hey, if they win out and get in, I'd be as excited as anyone.
Worse case scenario is they don't make the playoffs and don't have a top 10 pick
I just want us to end the season strong and take that into the off-season! Hopefully we can somehow land Saros in the off-season to pair with Allen
