Size doesn’t matter, don’t try me!

  2. Heatersthebest

There’s no way he’s 5’8”, which in fact makes this a little better.

  3. mightysimi

I would say Petterson isn’t expecting the second hit after passing the puck

  4. Yop_BombNA

EP40 was not at all expecting the second hit because that should be an interference minor 7 days a week and twice on a Saturday

  5. BladesOfSteel88

Petey’s not the strongest on his skates.

  6. JerbearCuddles

I get killed on the Canucks sub for ripping Petey for being Bambi. Light breeze takes that guy out. He refuses to bulk up. He might actually be lighter than Caufield if he’s actually 175. With that said, I doubt Petey was prepped for the 2nd shove after he passed the puck. It wasn’t interference imo, just saying Petey needs to go to the shop with the Sedins. Learn how to take contact.

  7. Hey Matheson is on the Canadiens now too. He did some shit to Petey before.

  8. Baron_VonDoom

But does he have a concrete skull like that other manlet tie domi?

  9. Reminds of the days playing bantam hockey where that short, but stocky kid could hit you in a way that really hurt

The second hit is a penalty maybe that’s why Petersson didn’t expect it

  11. Ambitious_Western_12

I would say he’s trying to draw the penalty. Late hit and intentional in front of the stripes

This is why I’m so sick of hearing people say that Connor Bedard is too small for the NHL… it’s not all about size. body mechanics and the ability to move your weight correctly are everything…not to mention the kid will probably gain 20 pounds in the next year plus possibly more height.

6’2 175 is way smaller than 5’8 and 175 tbh

  14. throwing_snowballs

It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog.

  15. PotentialUmpire3771

Not that hard to manhandle Pettersson though

  16. AggressiveWin650

Love to see the little guy show the body

  17. raspberryrhubarbsoak

To be fair, a gentle breeze can knock Petey over on occasion.

  18. TheFrozenCanadianGuy

To be fair, Pettersson’s legs are built like Bambi

Please don’t vote me down into oblivion. But until Petterson puts on another 10 lbs I fear this is how it goes in playoffs. Pushed off the puck a lot, played hard, that’s when Petey is at his worst. We haven’t seen Petey in a non bubble playoff series. Going to be very interesting, and I want to be made a believer.
