Lol you clearly didn't watch much of the Habs camp.. Remember, a defender's goal is to stop goals! By the way, he did better than Mailloux in pre season so I don't know how Barron will get more ice time than him except if they're sellers
reinbacher going 16th overall sounds a lot more realistic than what happened, the habs who already had at least 11 defensemen, (that's counting off the top of my head), including Hutson, Mailloux, Barron, Struble….The Habs struggle to put the puck in the net EVERY NIGHT, so how do they solve that? By drafting a defensive defenseman, and 99% of Habs fans HATED the pick, and for good reason, but it seems his goal he got this year persuaded most Habs fans to change their minds about him, and now they are all thinking they have a #1 pairing D man. lol, i can't see that. I hope he does, and im wrong, but going on what hes done this year, and last, i cant see it. Plus he isn't going down levels, the AHL is much tougher competition, and lastly, he wasn't good because he was on a poor team, HELLO, he's coming to Montreal!!! lol, The Habs aren't exactly a good team. I love them, but they're probably 3 good goal scorers from competing. No more D please!!! lol.
Something people seem to miss is the fact a player's value depends on his team/linemates.If Reinbacher was on the McKinnon line or the Kucherov line he might put up numbers that make him look better than he really is but on MTL he will be very average much like Guhle.IMO Reinbacher unless used as trade bait was a complete waste of a first round pick we needed a forward and no excuse matters to me.
He reminds me of SERGE Savard …big rangey d- man who can skate ..has a big stick ..with some offensive ability .!! 6 ft. 4 …nearly 200 lbs. And only 19 yrs. Old !! Hope he turns into a TOP D-MAN !! GO HABS

Don't think you've published such content on any other prospect that wasn't either a top 3 pick or had already played most if not all of his later years on US or canadian ICE already.
