I like the idea of trying Mitch at centre. Obviously there is not much of a track record of it, but there also isn't a track record of success in the playoffs. So switch it up, give it a shot.
I also think by switching up the 5 on 5 lines, giving Auston, Mitch, and Willy their own lines, would encourage them to turn it on even more on the powerplay. Everything feels a little stale, so try something new and see how it goes.
Mitch could be our small centre similar to Point. Obviously they play slightly different games, but Mitch has to change something in the playoffs to get his game going and maybe trying centre is it. More defensive responsibility, more facilitation through the middle.
I like Sammy but his disdain for Ovi is kind of cringe.

Never seen anyone hate the game of Hockey more than Justin Borne! Let's just dump all over Ovechkin for the pursuit of Gretsky’s goal record. Meanwhile he acts of Ovechkin doesn't get the puck he's some demonstrative manic out there in the ice demanding the puck. He clearly has never seen anyone on Ovechkin’s team speak about what kind of Captain he is. The fact that he's on the record many times as he wants to win. So the Caps couldn't beat the Leafs thus is the circle of life in hockey.
