Stop playing 29 and 97 together. Knoblauch was too much of a friend today, and not enough of a coach. He was more focused on Hyman burying 2 for 50 infront of his hometown. Separate 97, and 29 forever 5on5 and only use them together in special moments after a PK or last minute of a period. Jeeze.
Too much puck turnover. Missed power play opportunities. Skinner didn’t have it. Leafs played rough and dirty. Who the heck is McMANN … plus McMANN should have been called for elbowing McDAVID. Tie DOMI was in the house or is it TIE DUMMY. His son is a dummy too. The momentum was in the leafs favor. They were home. Too much media coverage on will HYMAN get his 50s… look he did get 49. The focus should be on winning. Achievement awards later. Hyman is never catching MATTHEWS… so why make this gunning for 50 the main story line. Go get the SENATORS. McDAVID did get 3 assists

Periods #1 and #2 – Poor play from most Oilers and awful play from some Oilers including: $9 million a year defenseman Nurse (-2), lazy and defensively slow Bouchard (-2) and Skinner, who allowed 5 goals on 16 shots and finished with a 0.78 SV%. In the third period, the Oilers replaced the pathetic Skinner, and Pickard stopped all 5 shots at the goalie. McDavid/Hyman/Draisaitl tried to get back into the game, but it was too late.🤣 To win the game, the Oilers must play well for the ENTIRE 60 minutes of the game, and ALL the Oilers must contribute to the end result, not just the McDavid/Hyman/Draisaitl line)) 😇 Amen!😇
it is ok we lost. but it is not ok how we lost…. terrible d. giving pucks away.. new additions not adding to scoreboard.. 2nd line not doing much as well.. entire team besides mcd got outplayed

Knobby wasn’t the problem behind the bench. It’s the guys on the ice that have to do the job
Coach needs to roll the lines. Playing McDavid & Draisaitl together too much was a failure of the last three coaches.

Contributing factors? How about the biased officiating? These guys can't say anything or they'll be fined but this game was disgusting to watch.
