I wasn’t prepared to see this first thing in the morning and from the Canucks subreddit. Very touching.

Aww man I really love this . Jt has absolutely won this fan base over and I’m truly truly here for it. This man’s give a f meter has been the highest on the team since his arrival and it makes me really happy to see him and the fan base work through some of the rocky times when things were a bit combative and break through to this .
Like when JT was locked into a long term contract instead of Bo I think a lot ppl thought that wasn’t the right move but man was it ever the right move and that’s nothing against bo. love seeing the right call come to fruition . And seeing this on the tv feed last night made me super proud of Vancouver and our fans to show him how much he’s valued here and it’s made even better ( didn’t even know that was possible ) to see that JT’s family / daughter was here for this moment 🥰 love to see it !

Miller blew his chances at being that top 6 Center in New York, and Tampa(not much opportunity). He came to Vancouver and absolutely OWNED the challenge of stepping into that role. I’m so glad Yzerman decided to hand the Canucks Miller for a 1st rounder in a shitty draft year. The draft pick that was traded to Tampa, got traded to Jersey and they drafted Shakir Mukhamadullin…. Who? He’s already been traded to the Sharks, and has only played 3 games there. So the Canucks ended up with Miller who has been a point per game + player since joining the team in 2019.

JT is the heart and soul of the Canucks this year. If it wasn’t for our phenomenal young talents like Hughes and Patterson, he’d be our only all-star. This team is deep!

We’ll have to chant her name next.

Wonder how many games family watches in the crowd and not in a box. I’m sure they hear all sorts of criticism of the team when things don’t go well.
