This hockey arena has 2100 + seats, two luxury levels, a club, a large a restaurant with view of the ice, media, players and owners boxes, two main concourses with vendors and washrooms, many elevators, escalators, staircases etc. It was built in sketchup.
This is the polished and completed video showcasing the arena. There will not be another update for this project.

(don’t download if you have anything less than a beast of a computer, I have a relatively new machine and I still had to work on small segments on low settings with about five frames per second when everything was put together.)

For one simple reason, I think I may very well like what you have done more than what we are likely to get. From all I understand about the goals of the new stadium, there will be LESS seating than there is now in the Saddledome, not more. Your design is an increase in seating…

This in incredible! I can’t even fathom how much work and skill this required. It’ll be sad to see the Saddledome go but this is definitely an awesome concept. You’ve got a bright future in architecture! Keep up the good work!

With a deal on the table this should be put before the city before design period is done.

I love it all! But I’m sorry to say this, the scoreboard looks like it’s like old fashioned, like you could go for a next generation scoreboard, like one that looks like the scoreboard of Sofi Stadium in LA
Impressive, very nice design concept, I wish the city council of the city of Calgary would approve this and get the funding to get this built with the owners of the Calgary Flames. Sooner, the shovels break the ground for construction the better.
