Take the Prospects , lock them up , keep other teams away from them and build the team for the future with them for trades for a player is just a band aid to the team
It's the first time in a loooong time the NYR have very good prospects , Drury is smart, let these kids marinate in hartford , do not rush them! Between gorts, jd and drury they have done a really good job with the rebuild! Berard, rempe, sykora, othman all play with a snarl , not to mention laff, schnids and cuylle who also play with a snarl, which has been absent in this franchise for quite sometime.
Itās so hard to tell how good he really is. I mean belzile is on top of the team and his top ceiling I believe is an other forward in the NHL maybe or top six in the AHL. We will definitely know a lot more next year as a sidenote, Othman is starting to play a lot stronger on the puck. But realistically, thereās no guarantee that he will even make the team next year.. It is such a competitive league. We will see what happens. Itās fun to talk about.
Need to feed these guys into the league one at a time so they get a taste of the faster pace and see how they respond- Drury is building a future in NY which hasnāt been done in a while.
Berard Othmann and Sykora are the real deals. Garand has taken a step back. Should be up now.
