After an arduous first two periods, the Panthers would take a late lead but Artemi Panarin, who is red hot, threw a puck on net and it deflected in off the Panthers defenseman to tie the game late for the Rangers.
Panarin and Mika Zibanejad would score in the shootout and Igor Shesterkin would stop old friend Vlad Tarasenko to win the game for New York and propel them to the top of the NHL.

Everyone’s complaining panarin was skating backwards on his shot but marner did the same thing to the Rangers in the shootout. So up to the nhl to decide 🤷🏻♂️
