Tell me what goalie is gona win many games with this level of Shet Defense? Oiler fans.. if this was Koskinen, they'd be calling for his head. If it was Campbell, they'd be saying he just needs love, if it was smith they'd call it an off game. But it's Pickard, so it's all his fault. Hard to figure out how that works.
Last nite; 5 goals on first 20 shots. Tonight; 4 goals on 14 shots! Even Edmonton stars can not out score goaltending that bad. Plus, Skinner will be even worse under playoff pressure.

My band played the intermissions in this game, what an awesome game, cant believe we came back to beat the oilers. Wish we had of started out this season with this type of effort!!

Usually its the players that owe their goalie a steak dinner, but Pickard owes the boys one after this stinker. Man was he horrible today.
Said it since the beginning of the year, to win the cup you NEED depth in goaltending. Oilers do not have that and did nothing about it once again. I do not feel confident whatsoever with a Skinner/Pickard duo in the playoffs, games like this show you why. Not time to panic, we still have a great team but games like today are not encouraging at all. Hope they at least close out the road trip strong.
