  1. He was working with Wennberg and Cuylle at the end of practice.

  2. Prof_Cha0s84

The ultimate troll job, they’re gonna scratch everyone once except for Goodrow lol

  3. Krispyford

This is more about giving guys rest down the stretch rather than punishing poor play. Cuylle and Kakko have done nothing to “deserve” a scratch.

  4. CapriciousnArbitrary

He was responsible for a goal against the last game.

Edit: I stated a simple fact of why he might be, not my opinion.

  5. I’ll give you a hint who you should scratch next his name rhymes with Woodrow

  6. Active_Plant_2979

His next tweet said to hold your alarms and the second half of practice Kakko was back in the third line 🙂

  7. Great, because fans certainly won’t have strong opinions about this…🙄

The word “scratch” really gets us going doesn’t it. Maybe call it load management lol

Considering every single d man is getting injured one by one, I fully support a “scratch game” for each player down the stretch. Let Brodz take their minutes and make sure everyone is healthy for the playoffs. Fuck seeding considering they’ve already clinched. Play whoever and just stay healthy

I know it’s a curse to some, but our schedule seems to encourage going for The Presidents Trophy. It does guarantee home ice till Cup lift.

I’ll be at the game vs the Avs on Thursday. I hope they don’t sit anyone I like for that one.

But if we’re talking rest games – I wouldn’t mind seeing Bread sit for the last Devils game. Got a little spooked seeing Devils fans talking about how they should take runs at him.

I don’t think “scratching him bc of poor play” is the reason for this. It’s just to prevent burnout, possible injuries going into the playoffs. Cuylle was scratched to give him a rest. Not on performance.

I don’t mind this at all. But, I still push for the top seed in the conference

I’m fine with this, the team is sailing into the playoffs, the most important thing now is getting healthy and keeping Igor’s confidence up.

And yet 1 goal Goodrow has immunity still.

I’m already getting PTSD vibes that we are gonna be down 3-2 in a series where we are starved for offense and Lav will still start Goodrow over someone like Cuyle or Kakko.

As long as he’s healthy and in form for the playoffs 💪

  16. spanman112

Goodrow has looked like he needed a rest all season

As long as Kreider gets a scratch too. He’s already on vacation until mid April, shouldn’t make much difference.

Kakko has been amazing. His presence on the puck has developed immensely, Laffy too. Both of these guys are noticeable on the ice with possession and decision making. Loving it.

One thing I never understood about Gallant was the lack of rest guys got down the stretch and not trying new lines and pairings before the playoffs in meaningless games. If that is what Lav is doing, I’m all for it. If it’s something more I’ll lose my mind.
