Really good show, Connor! I like your choice for hardest working Jet.. Nino always goes 110% and scarcely ever puts a foot wrong. And thumbs up for the Top 3 Jets too.

Great recap Connor, thanks! After that amazing game against the Rangers, the NJ, NYI and Caps games were very concerning. sometimes it's so hard being a Jets fan, the rollercoaster ride continues…. Excellent picks for hardest working and 3 stars, as always! The next few weeks are going to be intense, to say the least!!!

The team is displaying the trend it's owned since their 2018 conference final appearance…..that trend is taking a nose dive as they back into the playoffs. Yes they beat the Rangers a top team however they then disappeared and were unable to bring the effort required to beat teams they should beat. The teams they now face are all contenders other than the Senators. They have earned their reputation as pretenders and unless they flip the switch which they have not been able to do in their last 5 seasons….they will be one and done in the playoffs. Championship teams do not play this way late in the season and if the Jets don't know who they are by now, I'm sorry, but they will not prevail when they face either Dallas, Colorado or the Preds.
Players like Ehlers and Connor are not reliable when the going gets tough as it does in the playoffs….especially Kyle Connor who disappears. I think Edmonton will dominate them and the Jets will officially be in a nosedive. This team hasn't been consistent enough to impress me and I predicted this dive was coming…..
NHL hockey is so impossible to predict, especially when you try to use regular season performance to try and see what will happen post season. Jets show up for the Rangers game, put on a dominant performance and then absolutely get schooled by three teams battling for a playoff spot. Those three teams, however, are desperate whereas the Rangers are trying to win but not get injured doing it nor are they playing for anything substantial at the moment. Winnipeg definitely take games off, always have, but they have yet to figure that when they do that they quickly lose their scoring touch and it’s very hard to get that touch back.
This team has for years followed up big wins with awful play following. Get near 1st in the central and proceed to fade away against teams they should beat. The game against the caps was better but they squandered it away with a poor 3rd. And sadly they are little better than .500 since the end of January. No grit, very little change of personal when things go bad, and a serious lack of killer instinct. Dreadful d zone play ( see pionk and kc). Slow to make coaching adjustments. 1st place is out of sight and now do they free fall and nsh passes them?
The Fraud Squad, once again falling apart getting close to the playoffs. Desperate teams playing hard and showing ALL of the Jets weaknesses, exploiting them and tearing them apart. The Jets are in their coast gear while every other team is heating up, working their bleeps off and showing the world that the Jets are… the Fraud Squad. I've been saying ALL year that the Jets need a TOP RHD. A big beast, leader, etc… So sad to once again watch them fall apart. Agreed on Nino as the hardest working Jet and I wouldn't give anyone a "Star" for this past week.
