i was hoping the avs would get him somehow but with them getting mitts it just doesn't make any sense.
Crosby is at fault…. he didn't make the saves, didn't propel his linemates on different lines then him, didn't skate 65 minutes in a 60 minute game, he didn't fill all forward and defensive position on the ice… didn't tape everyone's stick and sell hotdogs in the stands….He didn't score 300 goals this season…. he only played his heart out, brought season ticket holders their tickets, came to work with the intention of getting the job done… who cares if nobody else shows up he will never put the blame on anyone but himself… so it's Crosby's fault…. I've always found this particular scenario quite fascinating…re-signing an aging player out of loyalty when it might be in the team's best interest to let him walk while he still has value. Very few superstars play their entire career with one team. I've always felt Crosby would be one.

I think its time to retire for Crosby and Malkin and Letang. especially if they care about the future of the team. It's time for a full rebuild.
Penguins are obviously losing or tanking on purpose because I watch them play against good teams and they just give up eventually because they get too tired and say the heck with this.
