What is your score prediction for tonight's game? Who scores the first Canucks goal?
Vegas not making playoffs is my preference just because they turn me off as a franchise and it would be funny if they made all those additions and then missed the playoffs completely. However Vegas just doesn't scare me this year. They've been too mid for too long. Defending champions or not Vancouver has shown they are one of the very best.
3-2 Vancouver. I could see us losing this one though. LA is one of the better teams in the Conference though and as good as the Canucks and DeSmith are playing they may miss Demko tonight. I'm thinking Hughes scores as he is overdue.
Canucks will clinch a playoff spot. I'd rather see St. Louis make it uncomfortable for Vegas and make it into a tight race for the WC2 spot.

5-2 Canucks. Garland gets the goal. A replay of other games we go up early the other team tries coming back late but we shut the door. We put a exclamation point on this one. Looking more solid down the stretch. Everyone is looking better and working harder. We stick to the plan LA gets frustrated and the play draws penalties. Don't let them breathe. Stifle every attempt. The interesting dynamic for tonight is if The Canucks and Vegas both win, Vegas will be only two points behind LA for third in the Pacific which raises the spectre of a a possible Canucks/LA round one.
Soft moral victories like "first to clinch a playoff spot" should not be in our priorities. We want to push deep into the playoffs and not coming up against Vegas would improve our chances of that.
I want the Blues to win tonight. More accurately, I want Vegas to lose.
