  1. I honestly think with Carter very likely gone, they should move Acciari to RW next season and get someone else who can play 4th line center like either Eller, Poulin or Ponomarev. I feel like you might be able to get more offense from Acciari at the wing.

  2. @insidethepenguins You guys are on point and like you said a lot of people don't give Jarry a fair shake. What Jarry can work on this summer, is flexibility, tracking, concentration, not losing the net, playing compact and conditioning. As a fellow goalie I like the step up Jarry has taken this year but at his age their's more he can take and if that's the case next year this will greatly help the pens.

  3. Acciari is a double-edged sword: he's not really effective on the score sheet and misses too many games, but on the other hand he does bring grit, and the PK is lifeless without him.

  4. Noel Acciari from Toronto to the Pens via Dubas of Toronto. Dubas knows Acciari sucks firsthand from his time in Toronto and signed him for 3 years instead of 2. Dubas of Toronto also knows Michael Bunting of Toronto and didn't sign him as a UFA last summer. Instead Dubas traded Jake Guentzel for a player (Bunting) he could of signed as a UFA. Dubas, FSG, and Mike Suckagain are garbage.

  5. 87 had his 40th career 4 point game in Colorado. It was the 1st loss in which 87 had 4+ points since February 19, 2007 (38-1-1 ALL TIME).
Please resign head coach Mike Suckagain. Please.

  6. Acciari delivered over 60 hits in a 7 game series against Tampa playing at best 8 minutes a game. He is/was a playoff machine.

Dubie might take a run at Simon ā€œWelcome to the milk truckā€Benoit.
Started in Anaheim and is now a top 4 d-man in Toronto.
Shoots, passes, fights, and oh can he open ice hitā€¦all for a cap hit of $775k (RFA/UFA itā€™s complicated)
He was a healthy scratch for a couple of games due to cap issues and was not amused, especially when other moves could have been made.
Not amused to the point of having no desire to re-sign with the LeafsšŸ¤”

  7. I'm for running the goal tenders back. You get better defensive players to help them out. So many times this year the defense have left them out to dry.

  8. This year for the Penguins organization has been a very severe train wreck. Especially losing some pieces of the team like Jake Guentzel and Chad Ruhwedel. This off-season, the Penguins should trade Erik Karlsson, Rakell, Smith, and Graves for draft picks and sign Brandon Montour, Brady Skjei, and Sam Reinhart during free agency. Some contracts to me that look questionable would be Matt Nieto. Especially Matt Nieto since he's been mostly injured all season (hope he can get better next season). I think the Penguins should bring up Vasily Ponomarev next season as a 4th line center. For prospects, Brayden Yager should stay in the WHL for one more year, then bring him up in the 25-26 season.

  9. I would love to just rewind and have Marino and Matheson (and still have that 1st round pick, let's not forget), instead of any combination of Petry, Ruutta, Karlsson and Graves … but it is what it is.
