Suzuki will get to 3rd round
This is in 2 years! These lists are meaningless. That said, yes, Suzuki would bring more than a few of these guys even today.
Scheifele or Verhaege out for Suzuki since he's a top defensive center in the league.
Canada has way too many right shot players. So I'd argue that there really is not that many spots open on right wing. And that really messes with the team cause when it comes to best on best you have to have the best fit in order to win.
I agree that hyman shouldn’t be chosen over Suzuki. That being said, I’d keep Hyman over Marchand. Marchand is a talented player, though his age will be catching up with him… the real issue here is that DESPITE marchands talent, he is STILL more known for being a douchebag than he is a talented hockey player, and those types of players should not get the nod to a stage like the olympics.
One of the NHL’s top goals is to increase interest in hockey worldwide. Marchand and his antics undoubtedly hurt that objective. Leave him on the couch at home.

No Stamkos or Stone is wild in my opinion also. I think they are with out a doubt better than Verhaege and probably Scheifele too. Not sure if Suzuki is better than Stamkos or Stone but likely with time it will become more clear
This guy plays 25 mins a night and is under a point a game and has less points then Trochet who’s a second line player. You have to earn your spot not just be included because of size or race.
Zach hyman is probably 5× better than nick suzuki.

There are far better players than Suzuki (Stamkos, Giroux, Tavares, Benn, Carter, Hall, RNH, Stone, Horvat, etc) but I think this list will change if Suzuki becomes ppg player.
