  1. I’m not entirely sure how we dragged it to OT but Torts needs to be slapped and ersson needs an oversized blocker. Second WC spot and we’re leaving points on the table. Fastest player in the league with Tipp and he doesn’t touch the ice in ot

  2. Honestly I am very happy we got the point and I was there to see it after we blew the 2-0 lead

  3. Flyers3117

Anyone notice how bad the goals against went up since seeler got hurt lol

  4. brewcrew2_2

We went through the fucking gauntlet with a completely demolished defense core and we’re still in a playoff spot. Proud of the battle and now it’s time to finish the job.

  5. igo2extremes

After tonight we have officially earned a point from every team in the league

  6. Future-cthe3rdeye

Win or lose these guys fought hard the entire time in my opinion. I’m proud of them.

  7. Lethal_Lunacy

Can torts at least put our talent out there during OT to start… jeeze

  8. StillCircumventing

Good to get the point. But we better see this same effort on Thursday. Don’t play down to Montreal and throw more points away. I’m worried ab that.

Now I like Torts…generally speaking. We know he’s old school, and that’s okay…generally speaking. We know he hates the current OT format. I don’t know if it’s pride or arrogance (surely not ignorance), but these last two OT lineups are inexcusable

  11. Streetkillz13

That was a rough game for Ersson, but you can’t really blame him for having a few stinkers, he is way overworked.

I did the math on it and since he became the starter he is starting at a rate that would make him the most played goalie in the NHL last year, and a top 5 in terms of games played per year all the way back to 2016/2017.

  12. MichaelMaugerEsq

HATE HATE HATE that he sends Shaw out to do media again after losing in OT like that.

  13. ScrubmanJones28

Of COURSE Torts doesn’t answer any questions

  14. ZeroOptionLightning

Third in the Metro, first in my heart.
(OT shenanigans aside, that they got a point is big)

  15. ryanlikeanantelope

Will Drysdale and Seeler be back soon? 🙏

  16. Old-Scientist7427

    A Hell of a game.

For the first time in over a decade Im really enjoying the Flyers again

  17. ArcanumAntares

Brad Shaw taking questions instead of Totrorella, eh?  The inevitable “wtf was that OT lineup about, coach?” question WAS asked, and post-game crew is also calling it out.  Aggravating.

  18. Steppyjim

Yo this Winnipeg Edmonton game is freaking good tonight. Having a third period like we did. tonight. And as a Bonus I dont gotta be sad when one of em blows it

  19. PM_ME_DIRTY_DANGLES

    Fuck Adam Fox

    Fuck Igor Shesterkin

    Fuck Alexis Lafreniere

    Fuck Mika Zibanejad

    Fuck New York

  20. ArcanumAntares

The OT Lineup Rage is strong with this post-game thread.

  21. Perryplat199

On a positive today. My missing jersey magically showed up in Chicago.

  22. someonepleasecatchbg

It’s a pretty good sign how pissed I am at “only” getting a point tonight.  If you had told me I’d be pissed at not beating the team with the most points on the road and still clinging to 8th I would have taken it for sure

  23. qwopcircles

Just finished watching Preds/Knights and for OT Brunette put out Josi/Forsberg/O’Rielly. Holy shit it’s almost like if you put out guys who know how to score, you end up scoring.

  24. Evrytimeweslay

Man I just want a team that’s good in ot

  25. garamondo

Just watched Nashville score 4 unanswered to win 5-4 in OT.
(GWG by Josi, on the ice with O’Reilly and Forsberg)

Moments later EDM beat WPG in OT
    (GWG Hyman, his 51st inexplicably)

NYR GWG by Norris-winner Adam Fox
(assisted by Panarin and Trochek, who have 170+ points together this year)

  26. Late to the party but WTF TORTS! I’m sorry, but OT is so unpredictable 3 on 3 that you need to put your best 3 players out to start OT. In no world is Poehling – Cates- Samhain your best line. He got one player right. I don’t see how he can look at his players and not go something like

    Frost – TK – sanheim
    Coots – tippet – York
    THEN
Poehling – Forester – whoever maybe sanheim again

I know coots hasn’t been himself but the guy played fucking 11 min in a 5-5 game at that point. I think he might have had some fresh legs for OT. And he still has plenty of skill and is sound defensively, with space and speed in tipper with him, I think it would give him an opportunity to create something. Really really questionable decisions happening here.

  27. SarGhoul24

I don’t understand not putting Coots/Laughton out there with any combination of TK/Tippett/Foerster. The point of OT is possession and not going with the better opening line is such a mistake.
