Jake McCabe had been beautifully physical this playoff season, but sometimes things go wrong. He appears to leave his feet on this one. Tough Call will be reviewing the incident. Have your say!
Clean hit, obviously the Leafs will try to target him because we all know he will be a menace and Toronto's #1 enemy. Hate this guy as an Oilers fan but love that he is a pest and a superstar at the same time.
I don't know if this was a call or not (it's the NHL so total coin toss), but depending on the referee's position they could articulate charging for the upward launching motion (though he keeps his leading skate on the ice until the last second, ie. I wouldn't say he "left his skates"). In this NHL they probably could have called a major for the review. In slow motion from the angle we have you could get away with not calling it, but a minor wouldn't be out of the question.
Even as a referee and despite the paradox of Tkachuk being a clown yet producing and carrying the Panthers, I might lean to no call…clown side wins.
If that was a leaf player getting a forearm to the head then there would be a whole lot of crying foul but it wasn’t….but the Leafs Suck so they can whine about that… Boo who..

Unfortunately Dirtbag saw it coming.
Meh. Didn't leave his feet by much and didn't target the head. Playoffs
nice hit
On anybody else – marginal.
On this guy – good clean hit😊
Super close to leaving his feet. Might have had a toe on the ice at contact. Good playoff hit
Clean hit
Much ado about nothing

Good hit
Marchand is the modern day Claude Lemieux, Tkachuk is the modern day Marchand. Leafs are F-ed.
clean hit. he had his head down once he looked up he knew he was fucked and it was a hit to his shoulder

Just this guy's opinion.
2 minutes maybe
That’s why you put your mouth guard in your mouth
Is this in slow-mo or real time?
The leaving the feet makes it dirty. Looks like he was aiming for the head. But that's how Toronto plays.
I hate the laffs, good hit. It just inspired Tkachuk to play better.
