Honestly I am all for trading Pettersen if the right offer is made
Bains just wasn't that good. He got lots of rope too. Couldn't drive play nor finish.
Send Petterson to Arizona
Kypreos is an idiot
Bains has potential but he simply isn't ready for the big leagues. Between him and Ilya, the Canucks had 2 players that couldn't score.
Call up Pods
Better start learning Carolina buddy
Bains may have been defensively responsible but if he's adding nothing offensively I'd just as soon have a speedy 4th liner who is defensively sound as well. He wasn't adding anything the Canucks needed. Maybe at some point but not now. Also to Petey either sign or move on. This contract thing is obviously a distraction to you and a distraction to the team. Take your 11.5 or 12 million or else hit the road. If he's going to drag this out for maybe another half million it just isn't worth the headache.
Way to much $ to pay dude. Y’all gonna regret it sooner than later!! Lets Go Bruins!!
Would you trade Petey for B. Tkachuk?
Dakota Joshua keeps the other team in check. So free shots at our players.
Hmm.. Something smells fishy. I would not be surprised if Pettersson gets traded! A last minute move on the deadline for some depth players. That shakes the league up! There is just to much public chatter going on about him and the Canucks. This is not normal! Neither side seems happy. It feels weird. Something strange is brewing…
Elias Pettersson to Ottawa in exchange for Brady Tkachuk! 1 on 1. Vancouver goes onto the finals with some much needed Grit and heart. Ottawa starts the rebuild around Pettersson fresh. 😀
Wow we get outro music. Sweet. Just not a leggo vid without the music.
I have said before. The reason why they traded for Lindholm is that in case of Petterson getting traded, Miller will then be the no.1 centerman, and Lindholm will be the 2nd line centerman. Then, let's see if they can get 1st or 2nd line high scoring wingers back, if so then perfect. The team salary cap is just as much. If the team can still keep this strong defence group, then spend the money evenly on the players that can score and defend. The team then can still goes to the playoffs at least for several more years in a roll.
Peterson is not worth 12 million dollars Canucks management should smarten up He doesn't believe in the Canucks team and he doesn't want to play under Rick Tocchet bcos Rick is no nonsense nonsense
Bains's defining characteristic is that he learns and gets better. He'll be back. He'll be better.
I've said this before that Petey is a great hockey player but, he's not Mcdavid or Mckinnon. He's not worth 12 mil per season, 10 mil max. If he says no to that TRADE HIM. People are saying that he's starting to play like the deal is getting to him…forget about him, the whole team has started to hear that noise and are playing like it. He's only had 1 one hundred point season…That's it. He's averaged more than a point a game once, before this season and that was last year. C'mon Vancouver stop over evaluating your players!!
Petey should be traded to New Jersey for the Hughes brothers plus some draft picks or trade him to Chicago for Connor Bedard and maybe a few draft picks or prospects.
Hes not worth that much … trade
Trade Pettersson to Sens in a deal that includes Tkachuk
I am with everyone, to inconsistent to pay over ten mill, He should be paid like Miller. They should trade him before the deadline, good winger & solid hardrock defenceman. Not enough Ice for him & lindhom
EP40 is such a cry baby…..cry me a river
Petey wants to be on a winning team yet he's not playing like a leader, or scoring like one. And he demands to be paid like the top player on the Canucks?
How much more ceiling does EP have left? Probably not a lot. Anything more than 10.5 is a crime. Problem is if they don’t pay him, someone will. Let him walk. Eliasporadic ain’t him, unfortunately. I’ve got a skate jersey if someone wants to buy it.
Petey is now signed
Good Video, as usual, Gio. I'm thinking that you're right. It's so obvious Jim Rutherford is on Full Throttle for The Stanley Cup. Let me know what you think.
