Hiph surgery is serious
I think moving Vladar is a bad move, if we’re moving Marky too. Then you’re putting everything on Wolf who hasn’t been absolutely incredible yet.
He’s still got a lot of growing to do. That’s a ton of pressure especially if you wanna be competitive sooner rather then later
Connie will likely buy out Vladar in the off season which his cap hit will be only $750k. If they trade Markstron in the off season then they'll likely sign an older vet for a year or two.
I think it's more likely they keep Markstrom and look for a deadline deal again or a trade the following off season when he only has one year left and retaining isn't as big of an issue.
Yeah you absolutely CAN trade a hurt guy.
Just because a guy’s going under the knife and will be healthy and healed by the beginning of next season doesn’t mean that there’s no possibility of a trade or that nobody will want him. Vladdy is still a solid backup and there is DEFINITELY a market for him and his talents. Recovering from surgery or not, he still has great value and we can definitely move him for a solid return in the off season.
“Nobody wants to add a guy coming off hip surgery that hasn’t played”
That’s absolute nonsense. Guys get surgeries all the time. Why are we pretending like it’s suddenly a career ender??? Nonsense. Ridiculous. Again, there are plenty of teams that will want him, and we do need to keep Marky to help develop Wolf, that is BY FAR the best option going forward.
Pinder no miss
960 pumped this guy's tires for years and he never delivered
