I hope this isn’t his last hurrah, but if it is then I’m glad he got to go out as a hero.
That said, even if he’s not in our starting 6, don’t sleep on Gio. He could be just what we need if someone goes down in the playoffs.

If we’re out in round 1, maybe he doesn’t draw in. If the leafs make it all the way, injuries happen and it’s very likely he’ll get to play and make an impact.

He looked like a man on a mission last night. Hopefully some rest and that new fire continue into the playoffs! Hard to take him off a healthy bottom 6 pair with that performance last night!
