They booked their flights a month ago to their vacations. So tired of all the talk about "details" all year and no follow through. What a disappointment to the fanbase. Ownership will raise the consession prices next year to make up for lost playoff revenue.
Exhibition games from here on. The best reasons for optimism: Jack, Luke, Bratt, Mercer, Nemec, Bahl, Hischier. I like to think they'll learn from this crappy season and get mentally tougher. We know they can beat good teams, because they have. To me, losing to teams you should beat is all about a lack of will, a lack of consistent focus, a lack of mental fortitude. Fitz needs to figure out who the coach will be, who the goalie(s) will be, and bring in a veteran defenseman or two, just like they brought in a veteran goalie.
The team waited too long to change the goalies and coach. They need another veteran D, a healthy Dougie and another goalie to play with Allen. Otherwise this season was about injuries and rookie D playing way too much. I hope the GM has learned from this seasons missteps and moves forward. There is a lot of potential already in the locker room.
Mindset is that season is over for Devils. They already got their tickers for vacation. I would not bother going to a single fucking game since they showed 0 effort vs Buffalo. I have not seen a worse defense on any team in the NHL.
we started the season off poorly then would pick it up and lose momentum but I think we just need a GOOD goalie and hopefully with a new head coach we can see what green has up his sleeve for next season and hopefully during draft day we keep some good players, we lost toff, and don't have hamilton so that's also a CORE of why we're losing we also lost tuna, severson, and we lost shar, those three players were the KEY players we needed to make this team thrive

"Thank you to our fans. Stay tuned. We'll see you next season!" – New Jersey Devils
That’s all folks!
All talk not listening anymore . Only thing left to do is get McDermott ready for games against rangers coming up to get some revenge
most of the players on this team been in this league for 5-7 years. What are they still learning?

$hit coaches just like the crap GM. This organization is full of BS and it’s sad.
