Whatever happens this year I’d say that this team is special. They seem to have a good chemistry which last year I didn’t see.
They can beat any game when they really want to.
My only worry is that sometimes they go a bit too much into a cruising mode, but I hope that in the playoffs that is not happening at all.
This year there are many contenders for the cup, but I’d give just a slight edge to us over anybody.
(Not downplaying anybody, there is 5-6 absolutely great hockey teams this year)
With any luck, playing Tampa in the first round will fall to Boston or Florida.
8 games left, all against non-playoff teams, only two of those games are on the road, and the furthest they need to travel is to Detroit.
They are in a great position to get the President’s Trophy and be able to rest some players down the stretch.
It isn’t often that when the opposing team ties it up at 3 I’m smiling. What a fun game, you almost knew that no matter what they were gonna outscore them. Excited for all the coming games
