[JFresh] A successful season for Suzuki. Re-solidified his 5-on-5 defence, sustained and improved his shooting efficiency, and produced very well on the powerplay. Still improvements to be made creating offence at even strength, but a big step up overall from 22-23. #GoHabsGo

Suzuki had a great year. It was a down year for Caufield, I bet next year he gets things back on track and Suzukis 5 on 5 numbers and points total hits 80+

Suzuki is able to slow the game down 5 on 5 and thoughtfully control possession, looking for the right opportunities, while being defensively responsible, so the goal rates are slower for both teams in 5 on 5 stats.

Suzukis 5v5 offense will see a jump when we have other lines that are actual scoring threats. Despite how good the first line has been, if the opposition can shut them down and stay out of the box, then they *dramatically* increase their odds of winning.

Suzuki is 24th in the NHL in goals 30th at even strength, 44th in primary assists (like 60th at ev), but is tied for 146th for even strength secondary assists.

He individually drives as a good first line player but gets no help in the stats. The quality of plays including him on ice vs plays excluding him is among the highest ratios in the league.
